I was very nervous going into surgery, but Dr. Richheimer and his staff made me feel very comfortable. More importantly, both of my cataract surgery went very smoothly and now I don’t need any glasses. Both surgeries went very quickly and his team talked to me during the whole procedure. It helped me just feel calm.

Dr. Richheimer is incredibly professional and talented. He explained everything in detail, reassured me and assuaged my fears prior to the procedure. I had fairly extensive traumatic cataracts in both eyes (from numerous bike and car accidents). He spent far longer than usual working on my eyes, but I never felt a thing and had a smooth recovery with an instant change in vision. The main challenge was feeling blind in one eye while waiting to get the next one done. I highly recommend Dr. Richheimer to anyone considering this surgery. I was terrified at first, but it’s been a life changing and painless experience.

Optometrists that have seen me one year after cataract surgery can't believe that Dr Richheimer corrected my eyes to 20-20 vision!!!!
My last appt, the tech kept asking for my glasses or contacts, because no way was the vision in my eyes corrected to 20-20.
Unheard of, I'm told. Miraculous.
God guides this surgeon and his team for the outstanding results their patients enjoy.
God bless Dr Richheimer and his teams for their continued success and gifts of their labor they share with their patients.
Thank you for treating me .
"I open my eyes now and I can see as I have no memory of seeing in my past!!" This is a miraculous gift given to the patients at the Mile High Eye Institute, by a team of dedicated, compassionate, experienced, and confident professionals who's standards of excellence define the standards in this field.
The most difficult part of being treated is waiting for your initial appointment given the waitlist.
** If you wear contact lenses check if you need to be lens free for 3 months prior to first appointment**
Prior to surgery, you will be checked and rechecked and checked again by competent, friendly and confident opticians, optometrists and by Dr. Richheimer.
The procedure is short and the doctor and his team use the newest of technology to perform procedures. Personally, I experienced very little discomfort with each eye. I took 2 tylenol prior to my procedure and then again 6 hours later. I was sensitive to light as my eye was still dilated for about 24+ hours.
I can see! right away after surgery but this improves each day after surgery. As a child with a lazy eye, my vision was dependent on my right eye. I was extremely cautious and wary of surgery and it's risk. I had more than one cataract surgery group refuse to do surgery on my good eye.
Not so Dr. Richheimer.
He has over 20 years of experience. His confidence encouraged and enveloped me. Dr. Richheimer is experienced, passionate and performs procedures with his team, over and over again. He is a perfectionist, and a man who loves his profession. He infuses that enthusiasm to all around him and his energy carries his team and his patients...you'll see when you enter the surgical suite.
I cannot make a better recommendation for surgery than with Dr Richheimer and the team and procedures they have perfected to perform for each patient and their eyes' needs.
Today 5 days after left eye surgery and 12 days after the right eye, I have 20/20 vision in my right eye and 20/50 or better so far in my left eye. That beats the vision I had with the best of contact lenses.
Thank you Dr. Richheimer and each and every one of your staff for your excellent care and performance.
