So I’ve had appointments with Dr. Harris in the past. He is a very good doctor. In recent years he informed me that cataracts were developing in both my eyes. Since I’ve worn corrective lenses for many, many years I hadn’t really notice those subtle changes in my vision. Probably about 15 months or so after this diagnosis, I began to sense some questionable changes in my vision. I scheduled an appointment before my annual eye exam. Well one of my cataracts was “ripening” faster than expected so I was a suitable candidate for surgery. I honestly wanted to see better- - however, I was not exactly thrilled about having any surgery on my eyes, but I knew it was necessary. I’ve already stated that Walter Harris is a very good doctor, but his staff now took over the administrative part of my cataract journey. They were ALL professional and hard working. As I chatted with about three of the members of this staff, they all diligently worked to get me scheduled for what turned out to be a truly pleasant surgical experience. I wish I knew the names of the staff members that examined my eyes that day, but I must mention Nicole who was competent, resourceful, hard working and who certainly convinced me that she was dedicated to her craft and to getting her job done correctly and professionally (and with a suitable amount of understanding and compassion) even when she had to concede that everything that patients ask for…is not always possible. I would definitely recommend this facility as well as its staff for your cataract eye care!

Consistent with the other folks, the wait time here is insane and unnecessary. Staff is nice enough, but for the amount of time to wait both in the waiting room and in the examination room is not worth it. Expect a normal eye exam to take over 1 hour.

This is the worst practice. Dr. Harris never exam my eyes for corrective lenses. Some unidentified woman escorted me to the exam room and she checked my script. He signed the script but never checked my vision. Spent 2.5 minutes with him after waiting over 2 hours to be seen. Disgusting. Stay away.
