I have the absolute worst anxiety disorder and being newly diagnosed with my diabetic retinopathy has made me so uneasy and on edge. Every time I see Dr. Desai he is so gentle and caring. His entire staff is amazing! They are all so calm, compassionate & understanding! I've never been to a specialists office where the whole staff and the Dr were beyond kind! They always make me feel so comfortable and at ease. I also like that even though Dr. Is very gentle & understanding, he also tells you exactly how it is but in a way you will understand. This Dr. And his entire staff are truly amazing people! My treatments are easy and majority pain free! They all do their very best to make you as comfortable as possible!

Having had laser done in my eye made me never want to do it again but Windy City Retina - Ankit Desai, MD changed mmt attitude towards this. Friendly staff, clean office and Dr. Desai was very informative, patient and did the procedure painlessly. Definitely visit, you won't be disappointed
