This was my first visit to Winfield Medical Eye Center, and I had a wonderful experience. The young lady who assisted me was incredibly professional, kind, and welcoming. The office was spotless, and the entire staff was friendly and efficient. Scheduling my appointment was easy, the wait time was excellent, and I even appreciated that their no-show fee is very reasonable. Overall, I would rate this office a 10 out of 10. I highly recommend making your appointment today—you won’t be disappointed!

Over an hour wait with 2 loud receptionists that weren't very pleasant and obviously thought nothing of making personal telephone calls. However, once called inside, things went pretty smoothly and doctor seemed very knowledgeable. I'm still deciding if I will keep the yearly review as recommended as the wait was just too long.

AVOID AT ALL COST IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME. They scheduled my grandfather for a visit @10am and advised to get there earlier since he is a new patient - which is understandable. He got to the office at 9:30am and waited until 12pm for the doctor - who arrived at 11:30am. Why would anyone scheduled a patient visit at a time when the doctor is not even there. When I confronted the receptionist she said 'oh the doctor has a ton of medical patients and this takes time' - well no-duh he's a doctor all his patients are medical. She then went on to suggest we were annoyed because my grandfather was missing his lunch. No we're pissed because he's been at this dumb office since 9:30am waiting for a 10 min appointment with a doctor who arrived at 11:30am, and we're being gaslighted to think otherwise. Why is it okay for them to charge us when we cancel/reschedule/ or are late but we can't do anything when they the doctor is 1 and half hour late. THEY WILL VALUE THE DOCTORS TIME MORE THAN YOURS. AVOID AT ALL COST.

I've been coming here for years and staff are pretty friendly and the doctor is pretty helpful when I have questions.

My elderly grandmother was admitted to the hospital and unable to attend her eye appointment. I called the office as soon as I could to cancel and explain the situation. Despite it being a medical emergency, the staff refused to waive a $35 cancellation fee. Even worse, the manager refused to speak with me directly, and the receptionist made it clear they had no intention of showing basic decency or understanding. We weren’t trying to abuse their policy — this was a health crisis. The lack of empathy and refusal to accommodate a hospitalized senior citizen is appalling. If this is how they treat patients in vulnerable situations, I would seriously reconsider trusting them with your care.

Dr.Winfield and his staff are very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I have been coming here for many years. I recently had my eye procedure completed successfully for both eyes.

Doctor Winfield is an excellent professional. I recommend him to anyone who values the importance of their eyes!

Dr. Winfield is an amazing doctor who has always been attentive and has helped both of my parents with cataract surgery and everything else. I also want to give a shoutout to Rose at the front desk, who always makes sure to personally call us when we are due for a checkup. The whole team is great and I'm glad I found them.

The place is clean, not overly friendly, I don’t remember if the doctor greeted me the way they usually do. Everything was done so fast I don’t know if he was thorough. I was new I had an appointment for 1:14 pm and I was there until almost 3 pm . I believe he was upset or something because my husband ask why the process took so long. He finally came in and dilated my pupil but I didn’t even sit for 10 min the typical time is 15 to 30 min. He then told me to look left and right he was not thorough and I paid $172 . He told me my eyes were ok just reading vision. I was not told about my eye pressure nor was i told about the back of my eyes. The health of my optic nerve. He did not tell me what he was recommending and why. I believe he was hurrying to get rid of me because my spouse questioned them or maybe because he was sitting in the room waiting because I don’t like close spaces. I plan to go back to ask some questions because when I went home I realized I didn’t get my questions answered. Summary the doctor is not thorough and the process takes too long. I plan to go to another ophthalmologist. They had good frames and nicely priced but I don’t think I was examined properly.

This office is the worst office ever and the staff there are so unprofessional, the receptionist look like she hates her job but she doesn't have another choice then to be rude to patient....the doctor dose not care off your well being I don’t even thing he really knows how to do his job correctly because you’re going in and you’re literally out of the office. I told him about an incident that happened inside the office , and he did not care about it,or even acknowledged the fact that it happened and just walked away when I was talking to him. I wouldn't recommend this place to none of my family members nor my friends or anyone else I know, because they do not know what professionalism is.... That's why I had to change eye physician at CLIFTON EYE CARE....

My husband and I were checked in and seen very quickly. The staff and Dr. Winfield were very accommodating to us during our appointments while my husband and I took turns watching our baby. All in all excellent experience, great staff and doctor.

I was very pleased going to Dr Winfield. He did every diabetic test and more that I needed. All of the staff was so nice and helpful. I live that I can have my eyes tested and also pick out my new glasses at the same time of my eye exam.

Walked into this office clinically blind, needed help to move , the Staff were all so kind !!! A year later i am seeing life through beautiful lenses, thanks to God and the skills and care given me at Winfield's Eye in Passaic, NJ.

I’ve been coming here for years due to easy travel and the fact that they take my particular insurance. However the staff and doctor aren’t the nicest people, the wait time is usually no less than 45-50 mins. Questions for them seem like an inconvenience.

Good waiting time and great doctor. The front desk was very friendly and kind. But the staff working at the optical department where we go to get glasses don't really engage with the patient as much as they should or offer clarifications on questions and prescriptions.

Horrible experience with the receptionist there. Super rude. They call you to confirm your appt and when you cancel, they try charging you even after you cancel. Will be going elsewhere. Then you wait over 2 hrs to be seen. SAVE YOUR TIME!
