I'm so glad to have found Wohl Optics. A relatively new pair of glasses had broken an arm and the original store where I got them told me they couldn't be fixed, and I was told I would have to just have to buy a new pair. After doing some research on local glasses repair shops, I found Wohl Optics and thanks to them, I saved several hundred dollars, my glasses were fixed and turned out beautifully! I highly reccomend them for repairs and they also have a great selection of frames. I will definitely be using Wohl Optics for all of my future glasses needs!

Excellent experience! Doug Wohl was attentive, efficient and thorough. He had my past records so we knew vision changes I had experienced. Despite his relatively small space he had a fabulous selection of attractive frame. It was really hard to choose but I’m excited about my choices. Am so excited to get the new pairs.

I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs glasses or contacts or whatever, the prices are fair and the service is as fast as can be. Doug doesn’t try to sell you any nonsense add ons and actually cares about his clients and the business he does with them. It’s clear to me that he takes pride in his work and always honors his guarantees. Additionally, Wohl has great customer service, booking appointments is a piece of cake and they won’t leave you talking with an automated robot that keeps you on hold for forever. 6 stars out of 5 for me.

Doug was marvelous and was able to get my friend a replacement pair of glasses same day. She has low vision and was desperate to get new glasses after hers broke. Ty so much to Wohl's your help was much appreciated!

After having a not so good experience with America's Best, I was determined to find an independent optician. After spending over an hour searching on Google I finally found Wohl Optics. My experience with Doug has been absolutely amazing! I have a high prescription so exact measurements for glasses is extremely critical. Doug was able to cut my glasses so thin and they are the clearest glasses I have ever looked through! His prices are extremely competitive and his frame selection is top notch.

Simply put, Doug is AWESOME !!! I wear glasses with premium progressive lenses. I am a difficult client to get the glasses right given my extreme sensitive to small perturbation in the lens and frames. Yes, I can detect if the lenses are only 1 mm off! I was sad when my optician of 20 plus years retired. For over 2 years I saw many opticians who basically said you have to get used to new glasses without any detailed review of issues, let alone comprehensive fitting measurements. Then I came across Doug in a google search. In a few minute phone conversation, it was clear to me he could help with new glasses. Doug is exceptionally competent. He was willing to work with me even though it took several visits and working with the lab to get it right. He listened to what I was saying and asked good questions. He truly cares about delivering the best product he can. He doesn’t cut corners! He goes out of his way to help you. And he does so with a smile! Fitting of eyeglasses especially more complicated scripts or clients requires the human touch. I am glad for people like Doug who still believe in the human touch. Thank you Doug … and KEEP ROCKING! Had to get my dental loupes repaired in a pinch after my left temple arm broke off. Came in a couple weeks ago and the owner, Doug, was super kind and told me the easiest way we could repair them. Got the parts in fast and brought my loupes back in and he fixed them in 5 minutes. Amazing owner who provides exceptional customer service and delivers quality repairs. I needed lenses for a pair of glasses I brought in to Wohl Optics.. in one of my frames I wanted standard lenses put in and in the other I wanted Transition lenses. Doug explained the lenses options that would be suitable for my prescription and my budget. To my surprise Doug was able to make my lenses for one of my frames in minutes! and the Transitions lenses I also ordered were ready for me in one week. Thanks again, Doug.

I searched for an eyeglass repair shop and the reviews online were impressive, so I contacted Doug. He is very personable, communication was 100%, asked all the right questions. Drove up to his shop and he promptly helpes fix my lense to my eyeglass frame. If there were more ⭐s I would have given them. Thanks Doug! You are my official frame and lense shop going forward. Amazing, old school, mom and pop customer service! Found them doing an online Google search for an "in house optician" They were able to repair my old frames with various parts of a new frame which I purchased from them, saving me HUNDREDS of dollars having to get a whole new pair of glasses, including my progressive lenses, which were practically brand new! Happy girl here!!! Businesses like this with such personalized, caring service are hard to come by nowadays!

If I could give Doug more stars I would! He saved my frames after a screw broke in half connecting one of the arms. No one else I spoke to even thought it would be possible. I will be coming to him the next time my prescription changes! …

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this business. The owner was so kind. I needed emergency glasses and readers. He made them for me on spot so that I could work tomorrow. This was a revelation! The professionalism, caring and service was outstanding. My glasses are the most superior I have ever had made! Doug spent a lot of time perfecting the shape of the progressive lenses to perfectly fit my usage needs. He also gave me totally incredible advice on positioning my teaching computer screens to ensure optimal viewing quality! Doug will always make my glasses in future! This is a small family owned company who went above and beyond for me. I called right before closing to see if I could get same day pair of glasses for my son. He lost his glasses and was complaining of headaches while taking the PSSAS. I came with my son’s prescription and they stayed after closing and my son had a pair of glasses within 30 minutes! I called around to find an optician that has an on premises lab. I didn't want my granddaughter to have to wait 2 weeks to be able to see. She is farsighted and has alternating estropia. This is her first pair of glasses. She's almost 3. Wohl Optics had her on the next day. (I called on Friday, her appointment was set for 945 am Saturday)

My family has been going to this shop for decades. Doug is the best. He’s honest and he won’t let you leave with glasses that look stupid on you. He had the lenses for the glasses I picked out in stock today so he cut them while I waited. It was incredibly convenient.
