Dr. Leung was born and raised in San Francisco but now calls Orange County her home. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in molecular biology from the University of California, Berkley before earning her Doctor of Optometry degree, graduating Beta Sigma Kappa from the Southern California College of Optometry. Her extensive training includes professional internships at the VA Medical Center of West Los Angeles, VA Ambulatory Care Center of Los Angeles and the Optometric Center of Los Angeles. She has also worked at the Foothill Center for the Vision Impaired and Partially Sighted and at the Low Vision Department Rehabilitation Clinic. She is heavily involved in local school vision screening programs and has provided eye care exams to students attending California State University, Fullerton.

Dr. Leung is a glaucoma certified optometrist, licensed by the State Board of Optometry in California and is experienced in the detection, treatment, and management of eye diseases including glaucoma, cataracts, allergies, and dry eyes.

In addition to prescribing eyeglasses and contact lenses, Dr. Leung provides high-quality care for patients with a wide variety of eye conditions, as well as patients who have undergone LASIK and cataract surgery. Dr. Leung is certified in Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT), which is a non-surgical option that uses specialized contact lenses to correct nearsightedness during sleep. Her mission to provide individualized care with a personal touch drives her to educate her patients about their ocular health and care.

When she is not at work, Dr. Leung enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, as well as traveling, playing piano, and watching movies and Broadway musicals.
