Dr. Collin Tubbs is a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist, and has a
special interest in ocular disease, pediatrics, contact lenses, as well as LASIK and cataract care.
Dr. Tubbs is a local Austinite, growing up in the Hill Country in Dripping Springs, TX. He attended
Texas State University where he graduated with a degree in Biology. He then went on to earn a Doctor
of Optometry degree at the University of Houston where he completed externships at the Heights Clinic in Houston, focusing on Diabetic care with a mostly Spanish speaking population. He also completed an externship at Sharp Eye in San Antonio, focusing on all aspects of ocular disease, including cataracts, glaucoma, and dry eye.

Dr. Tubbs also took a special interest in pediatric care while in Houston, volunteering with the See to Succeed program which gives free eye exams and corrective eyewear to school age children.

In his free time, Dr. Tubbs enjoys playing basketball and disc golf, and is a big Spurs and Astros fan. He also enjoys walks at the park with his Boxer pup, Birdie.
