Eye Doctor Cynthia Noorani
Dr. Cynthia Noorani grew up in Boynton Beach, FL. She attended Stony Brook University in Long Island, NY where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Health and Wellness. After shadowing and working for her childhood optometrist as a technician, she developed her passion for optometry.
She went on to pursue a dual degree at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, where she earned her Doctorate of Optometry and Masters in Public Health in 2021. During her doctoral studies, Dr. Noorani kept various leadership roles at her school including founding the school’s first Contact Lens Club, President of the Gold Key International Honor Society, Vice President of the Private Practice Club and was a Student Ambassador for Bausch and Lomb.
Dr. Noorani completed an Ocular Disease residency at Omni Eye Services here in Atlanta where she received advanced training in glaucoma, retinal, and corneal disease. Additionally, she was responsible in the post-operative care for cataract and glaucoma surgeries. She is board certified from the American Board of Optometry and will soon be a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. She is a proud member of the Georgia Optometric Association and currently serves as the Vice President of the Greater Atlanta Optometric Association. In her spare time, she loves to travel and go on scenic hikes.
