Joseph M. Constable, O.D. – Biography
Dr. Constable is a board-certified optometrist who obtained his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Texas A&M and optometric degree from the prestigious New England College of Optometry in Boston. Coming from a family of medical professionals, he knew he wanted to be an eye doctor from a very early age. After graduating with a military scholarship, he served in the Army as clinic chief of his optometry section, a time in his life that he will always cherish. Over the past 25 years, Dr. Constable has fine-tuned his skills in the diagnosis and management of all stages of glaucoma and brings passion and insight to the management of a complex disease. He will participate in all levels of glaucoma care, including our academic research projects that benefit many of our complex cases. To recharge his batteries while away from the practice, Dr. Constable spends time with his wife and three Labrador retrievers, flyfishes, scuba dives and enjoys sports.
