Khanh-Ngoc Tran, O.D. was raised in the south San Jose area. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Biology with a minor in Psychology at the University of California, San Diego. After that, she went on to pursue the Doctor of Optometry degree at the Illinois College of Optometry. Her trainings spanned across different specialties of the optometry field. Dr. Tran received her training at large practices in Arizona and Georgia, the Illinois Eye Institute, and at the VA Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. She has also volunteered for a medical mission in Vietnam and an optometry mission in Mexico.

Dr. Tran is certified by the Board of Optometry to practice full scope optometry, including the treatment and management of ocular diseases using therapeutic pharmaceutical agents.

Dr. Tran is fluent in English and Vietnamese. When not practicing optometry, she enjoys trying out new eateries and exploring different boba/coffee shops around town. She also enjoys traveling to new places.
