I am a Bay Area native and grew up in Santa Clara where I attended Wilcox High School. I received my bachelor's degree in Physiology from the University of California at Davis in 1999. After undergrad, I worked as an optometric assistant for a year before pursuing my optometry degree. I received clinical training at the Chicago Eye Institute, Chicago Cornea Consultants, and the VA Hospitals in Palo Alto, California and Manchester, New Hampshire. I graduated cum laude from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2004.

Upon my return to the Bay Area in 2004, I worked in a local private optometry practice for over thirteen years. I enjoy practicing full scope optometry including pediatric and adult eye care, management and treatment of ocular disease and incorporating real world advice on technology use and eye care. In 2018, I joined the Kaiser Permanente team as an on-call optometrist.

Given my professional background, I strive to provide quality and personalized eye care with an emphasis in communication and collaborative care with your Kaiser Permanente health care team. I believe in a preventive approach to your eye care and make every effort to inform and educate you about your ongoing eye health concerns and needs.

Family and Friends

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, son and chocolate labrador, Marlowe. My interests include cooking, wine, travel, photography and music.
