Dr. Ora Esfahani graduated from the University of California, San Diego earning her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in French Literature. She then completed her doctorate training at the State University of New York College of Optometry. Prior to joining Dr. Richlin & Associates, she served as the Director of Optometric Services at CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center, leading the Optometry Department in numerous clinical settings.

Ora Esfahani, OD is a glaucoma-certified therapeutic optometrist. 

Her clinical skills include primary eye care, treating ocular diseases, and specialty contact lens fittings among diverse populations. Dr. Esfahani is passionate about utilizing the most innovative treatment methods for her patients who suffer from chronic conditions such as dry eye disease, keratoconus, and glaucoma. She has extensive experience providing care for adult and pediatric patients with numerous ocular conditions, including pre and post-operative care for various ocular surgeries, amblyopia (lazy eye), and binocularity dysfunctions. Having worked alongside renowned ophthalmologists of various specialties throughout her career, she brings forth a wealth of knowledge in the management of ocular disease.

Dr. Esfahani is a member of numerous reputable optometric societies, including the American Optometric Association, the California Optometric Association, and the Los Angeles County Optometric Society (LACOS). She is the immediate past-president of LACOS and has served on the society’s board since 2016. Dr. Esfahani is a volunteer staff optometrist at the Ellis Eye Clinic at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, providing outpatient care to patients in need. She also volunteers for the SUNY Optometry Student Mentorship Program, helping current students plan for their prospective careers.
