I came to Hillside Optometry since it opened up close to me. I was very impressed by the friendliness and knowledge of the staff. Dr. Aliav was very thorough and asked me a lot of questions to really understand what was going on with my vision. I recommend them to anyone who needs any visual needs.

I have keratoconus This office mentioned that they have expertise with this condition .I don’t have any expectations for optometrist other than checking my vision ,but I was intrigued.. I was really amazed. .This office recommended a hard lens instead of my glasses. I was shocked that my vision was almost perfect with it. However, now I needed reading glasses Which kind of made it a hassle. However, they fitted my good eye with a lens that gave me the ability to read my phone, etc. and now I do not have to wear my glasses. Everyone was super nice and caring. They gave me a very clear explanation of my options. And Jackie is very kind on the eyes.. No pun intended.

I saw the Grand Opening about a month ago and decided to check it out since it has been forever since getting my eyes checked. I made an appointment and was able to get an appointment within the week. The office was super nice - very modern. There was a large selection of eyeglasses, including my favorite which is Tom Ford. I picked up a second to use up my FSA. The doctor was really nice and warm. The super cool part of this experience was the service. It felt very white-glove. I will definitely be coming back.

I cannot praise my experience with Dr. Hovhannisyan enough. From start to finish, the service I received was nothing short of exceptional. The staff members were not only highly professional but also incredibly friendly and accommodating. They made me feel welcome and at ease right from the moment I walked in. I went here for an eye exam and new glasses 2 years ago - I'm writing this review at a later point because I recently went to a different place, and the experience was much different! I really appreciated how Granada Hills took the time to answer so many questions of mine: they explained buying glasses at the optometry office vs. buying online, measured and marked the focal point of my lenses, and made sure to adjust my glasses so they were the perfect fit before sending them out. The service was top-notch! I'm only going to a different place now because I've moved away, but I 100% recommend this place.

Loved how they were able to get me in last minute! Pleasant staff. Didn’t love how much they charge for replacing lenses but hey I guess you can’t win them all.

They will call from an unknown number and cancel your appointment if you don't call/text back. I work with clients and schedule appointments. Clients not showing up costs me money. I would NEVER cancel an appointment just because they didn't return my call. Poor business model where they show no respect for the patients' time. They have lost my family's business. DO NOT GO HERE!

Doctors are very professional and nice but I’m not used to being in an eye doctors for 2 hours I was not late I actually was 10 min early. Do from my appointment till when I walked out the door. Disappointed.

I have been going to Dr. Tang for several years now for my visual examinations and prescription changes. She and her staff have always been friendly, thorough and comprehensive! I highly recommend her for your visual needs!
