This was my third rescheduled eye exam by this office, took me over 2 months to see Dr. Feng.
I had to take the day off from work and I showed up 30 minutes before my appointment. Upon arriving at the receptionist, I was instantly told the Dr. was running 30 minutes late. The receptionist took over 1 hour to check the eligibility of my insurance which I pointed out and proved several times I was eligible. In the end, Dr. Feng herself came and told me it took so long to check the eligibility of my insurance, I would have to reschedule my appointment yet again because I missed my time slot. Between the receptionist and the Dr. I was treated very unprofessionally to say the least putting it kindly! I would not recommend making an appointment and I would have gave this experience no stars if given the option!
I proceeded to "MYEYEDR." They sympathized, saw me right then and there luckily, verified my insurance, had my exam and had me out of there within 45minutes!

I got an adenoidectomy and a tonsillectomy with Dr. Edward Lee of Prohealth Physicians. This was my first major surgery besides small dental procedures. After my insurance denied my surgery at a big hospital like Saint Francis, I was contacted by the CT Surgery Center to schedule the procedure. The facility is small, easily accessible, HASSLE FREE, well lit, clean, I could go on! From the moment my procedure was booked, the facility kept in touch to ensure I had everything I needed for the big day. All of the staff that I talked to on the phone or met in person there were extremely kind, professional, friendly, and detail oriented. Drop off and discharge went very smoothly, there was no confusion on where to go or park, and I can not say the same about other facilities I have been to with my family.

Had a simple surgery today but was cared for so well by all staff, from check in to leaving felt like dealing with family 🥰 thank you Dee, Brent, Katy, Karen and Amanda! Of course Dr Tandon. Would highly recommend this location and staff! …

Yesterday was my first visit since their move from Hartford to Farmington, and I was impressed with the new digs. The place is open, bright, airy, and fresh. It was an easier drive, an easier parking lot, and easier check-in process. From admitting to recovery, it was the smooooothest process with the nicest people. So well-run, fully staffed, clean…I just can’t think of anything better to say. Oh, yes! The Connecticut Surgery Center not only has a much better facility, it’s also bigger! They do nearly everything there! I was thrilled to hear it because I really appreciated the experience I had yesterday, and I know I’ll be back, so…great news for this patient who felt very well cared for.

They staff were very friendly and the doctor was excellent. They do not tell you when you make appt for eye exam there is an extra hidden charge to check the health of your eye which is always included in every other exam I had. They want an additional $20. The purchasing of glasses was extremely confusing and the girl explaining did really didn’t know to explain it herself but she was very nice. Every question I had she didn’t know how to answer. It appears you need 2 pair of glasses for near and far. Never have I needed 2 pair and had to switch as I needed to see. Plus You had 4-5 choices of progressive lenses depending how well you want to see. Prescription just in the center, then widens visual range more and more each going up in price reaching several hundred dollars. I have Never heard of this. I have worn glasses for 52 years. And of course the specials never apply to prescriptions where you want to use your whole lenses to see lol. It was comical. I do not need $79 reading glasses I can get readers at the dollar store if I needed them. I ended up leaving with my prescription and purchasing my glasses online from pair eyewear.

The second I walked in for my appointment, I was greeted by the General Manager Ryan. He was so friendly, and so extremely informative! I truly felt like he was helping me make the right choices for my needs and budget. Dr.Bird was also awesome! He took the time to explain my eye exam, and went above and beyond. I Thank You both very much for a great experience, and will definitely be recommending you to everyone I know!!!👍🏻

The people are extremely friendly. The eyeglass frames are excellent quality, and are not expensive. I bought the best lenses, and two pairs of glasses for less than $700. I got the same eye exam as the place I used to go. Two pairs of glasses there cost me almost $2,000. I would recommend this place and these wonderful people every day.

Very hard to get an appointment hours are horrible. They want you to make an appointment just to buy glasses. If you want quick and easy go anywhere else.

So I just turned 60 and this is my first time purchasing prescription glasses and I wasn't sure where to go to so I called Plainville Optical in my hometown and I am glad that I did. I called at 9:30 am this morning and spoke to Maddy. She said that I have to make an appointment and asked me where I was and I said I am in the center of town. She said come on down and scheduled me right away. The other important thing that customers should know is that they accept Medicaid. Maddy was extremely professional and knowledgeable and it was a pleasure to work with her. I would totally recommend Plainville Optical.

I've been using this place for years the last time I had to get new glasses was earlier this year and I called and they said I needed an appointment I got so worried i ended up going inside with my grandma to see if I could just get a new pair of glasses, they took me in and got me set up. Rarely did they give me any trouble or any bad pair of glasses.
