Highly recommend! Dr. Taranto is friendly, knowledgeable, and really takes the time to understand your needs and concerns. His passion for optometry and client care has really come through in all of my appointments! At the front desk, Vic is incredibly helpful and personable. From start to finish, Dr. Taranto's office offers the care of a small private practice combined with the most up-to-date technology you might find at a bigger optometry clinic.

Nice store, friendly employees, and great selection of glasses. I was there alone and it’s difficult to pick out frames without a second opinion. The owners were quick to figure out my style and suggest frames that complimented my features. I LOVE the pair I bought and wished I would have found this store long ago. Thank you thank you!

I am so glad this new optical store just opened since not many places open on Sundays in this neighborhood. Lots of modern and chic frames to choose from at a reasonable price. Marina, the owner, is very customer oriented. My mom is super happy with her new sunglasses! They also take orders for contact lenses. I will definitely place an order when my current ones run out. They welcome walk-ins but also take one-on-one appointments. Support local, small business , everyone, especially during the Pandemic!

The store is beautiful and feels very posh. The new location is nice and really close to the farmers market. I got luxury quality and service for a fair price. The owner is really attentive and patient. She really gets to know you and makes sure you leave with the perfect glasses. The hours are also great because it's hard to find a store that's open both Saturday and Sunday.

Every time for last 12 years I visit the office, I have a very nice experience. The staff is always friendly, polite and helpful. Dr. Kandavel is the most great, highly knowledgeable, compassionate, friendly and understanding physician one can imagine. I would gladly recommend him to everyone

It’s a pleasure for me to put in a good 5 star review for Dr. Weiss, Diego and the entire support staff! By far, their thoroughness in identifying the multiple contact lens options for my specific eyes and getting me established with the proper fit has been an eye opening experience. I’ve been to many optometrist’s but Dr. Weiss’s team is the first that identified contact options beyond simply saying “there’s hard lenses or soft” and that soft lenses might be a better option simply because of comfort. I won’t go into all the details as to why it was suggested that gas permeable lenses should be the first option on my list, but suffice it to say that the recommendation was based on the physical aspects of my specific eyes first. And while comfort was a consideration, I was advised for the first time ever, reasons why soft lenses might be problematic for my eyes. Another eye opener for their thoroughness is the fit process. Through multiple scheduled visits after my initial lenses were acquired, Dr. Weiss and her team are continuing to make necessary refinements as necessary, during the lens “try out” period. And each and every visit, I have noticed improvements in fit and comfort. I highly recommend Dr. Weiss and Village Eyes Optometry to others who may have been considering contacts for the first time or are having issues with fit and/or comfort!

Doctor Jennifer was very detailed and explained the retinal scans in simple terms. Her staff is professional and didn't pressure me into buying anything afterwards like some offices will do. It was easy to make an appointment online since you can see their schedule and pick one that works for you without calling and asking for availability.
