It’s a pleasure for me to put in a good 5 star review for Dr. Weiss, Diego and the entire support staff! By far, their thoroughness in identifying the multiple contact lens options for my specific eyes and getting me established with the proper fit has been an eye opening experience. I’ve been to many optometrist’s but Dr. Weiss’s team is the first that identified contact options beyond simply saying “there’s hard lenses or soft” and that soft lenses might be a better option simply because of comfort. I won’t go into all the details as to why it was suggested that gas permeable lenses should be the first option on my list, but suffice it to say that the recommendation was based on the physical aspects of my specific eyes first. And while comfort was a consideration, I was advised for the first time ever, reasons why soft lenses might be problematic for my eyes. Another eye opener for their thoroughness is the fit process. Through multiple scheduled visits after my initial lenses were acquired, Dr. Weiss and her team are continuing to make necessary refinements as necessary, during the lens “try out” period. And each and every visit, I have noticed improvements in fit and comfort. I highly recommend Dr. Weiss and Village Eyes Optometry to others who may have been considering contacts for the first time or are having issues with fit and/or comfort!
