The staff who schedules your appointment does not listen to the patients concern or need to see the doctor. This is the second time I have had a situation where I am given an appointment to basically go in and pay the $50 copay and be told nothing can be done at the time of visit or by the doctor who will see me. I suffer from a sty recurring condition, by now I know what the doctor will need to do for me, I explained my situation and what I needed from the doctor. I was offered an appointment at the Astoria office to only take the drive from Bayside and be told by doctor Nissirios he only does the surgery at the Bayside office. Back at the end of July I had the same sty situation I called to see Dr, Nissirios, he was on vacation and wasn’t going to be available for about a month, I asked if Dr. Mahadev can do the procedure, I was told she could, I go in and as I am explaining to her that my sty is back she says, “oh I don’t do the surgery, I will give you antibiotics to treat it and come back in 2 weeks” . At that point I figured I wasn’t wasting my time to come back when obviously my issue and concerns is not a priority to the staff. It is very frustrating to be dealing with an uncomfortable condition I have no control over and to have to be at the mercy of a professional who’s staff does not prioritize your health or well being.

Making the appointment was easy. Ladies at the front desk are attentive and follow up, which is greatly appreciated. They were super sweet and helpful. Office is super clean and modern. Equipment is state of the art, all new and clean. Dr. Nerry Nayzov has been the most informative and clear optometrist I have had. Explained and went over my results with amazing details. Recommend to everyone.

Dr Nayzov is amazing doctor, he took time to explain all my issues and did all exams to prevent future issues. I highly recommend him and his staff very friendly atmosphere and his office is very clean and accommodating.

Friendly staff, clean office, and Dr. Nerry was very knowledgeable and thorough in his examination. Highly recommend.

Extremely disappointed on their services. Had a scheduled appointment for my mother at 10:30am. Arrived on time..sat in the waiting area for an hour and was told that we checked in at 11am when the written paper stated we checked in at 10:30. People who filled their names on the paper signed 10:30 after my mom. Then when they looked at the paper and noticed it, they proceeded to say, they called my mom 3x’s at 10:30am and called brother and she did not answer. Absolutely, no one, no one called my mother’s name. This was an out right lie. That was a cover up and unacceptable. If they were backed up and overwhelmed say that. . My mother and I would not be upset.

There was an incisive cyst on my eyelid and Dr Nissirios provided excellent evaluation and removed it completely with his in-house method! He did a good job and totally saved me from a possible surgery. Just came back from his office and couldn’t wait to write him a great review and share my wonderful experience with all the others. Highly recommend!!!

I have been coming here for years. Every one is polite. You are greeted with a smile. Always helpful with helping me picking out my glasses. The dr is very efficient and easy to talk to and makes sure that I understand what I need to do for my eyes. Today 6/9/23 I also had another issue and I was helped and so grateful. So if I could give more stars they would get a ten.
