I tried using contact lenses for the first time at age 71. I was hesitant to do so but was determined to try something different than glasses. The young lady that helps with ordering and servicing the customers at the Woodstock, Ga location was far more than helpful. On more than one occasion, I could not get a contact out after an hour(s) of trying. She told me to never panic but just come by and she would help me at her earliest convenience! On three separate occasions, she worked me in and in less than 5 seconds had the contact(s) out. I no longer use contacts but I’ll never forget the Customer Service that she rendered! My only regret is that I am not 100% sure of her name so that I can recognize her for her outstanding courtesies and professionalism!

PERFECT in every way. ALL the staff are exceptional. Dr. Kaufman is extraordinary. He performed a delicate procedure to reattach my artificial lens (artificial due to previous cataract surgery, which was unrelated), using a technique that other recommended surgeons said was not possible. The others’ procedure would have had temporary outcomes. I owe Dr. Kaufman a LOT.

Dr. Dortonne and her assistant were great with my son, who was not excited about the whole idea of getting glasses. The environment was very welcoming and kid friendly. We did have a wait to see the assistant and waited to see the doctor, but I was told to allow 2 hours for the appointment (which I waited a few weeks for). Because of the quality of care, I would recommend them to any of my friends looking for an eye specialist for kids.

So happy I found this shop in downtown Alpharetta. Nice selection of interesting frames and a very friendly, low-pressure, experienced staff. I love my new glasses! Very happy to support a small local business.

Awesome team of women, it’s my second time there to get new glasses and fill prescriptions on older frames. Nothing but excellence , I had Joni this time, she was a very big help… with everything, tell me …why do these ladies know how to pic out at least 20 pairs of glasses in a matter of minutes that will look great on you? The only problem you have is choosing which one😚 ! Thank you Joni 🥰

The team here was great to work with and very helpful. The appointments were on time and they helped me find some cool eye glasses.. I ended up buying 3 pairs!! :)

Two and half hour wait. Guy in waiting room had been waiting since 9:30 so his wait was four hours. People I sat with, all three had appointments at the same time as mine. Go elsewhere, and if your primary physician recommended the place call and tell him to stop sending patients. Extraordinary disrespectful of patients' value to them.

I would have appreciated having all the forms emailed to me ahead of the appointment so I wouldn’t have had to spend one hour in the waiting room before I was called. All the people were very friendly and competent, however. The doctor was obviously in a big hurry, but she did take time to answer my questions.

The office staff and Dr was great. The wait was long. I waited in the waiting room for an hour after my appointment time. Then the process of the eye exam by the eye tech was excellent. I waited again for the dr. Another 30 minutes. Yes I would go again to this practice but definitely bring a book!

I receive great care and compassion everytime I go see Dr. Shipley. He is very personable and really helps me understand what is going on with my eye health. I tell everyone about him.
