Very unprofessional, unorganized, rude, disrespectful and not helpful. After I was scheduled to be in their office at 8 AM and it was a referral from Ryan White they did not find the referral and refused to let me see the doctor. A simple phone call to Care Resource after the doctor visit would’ve been sufficient. However, not only did i not see the Doctor, I was told if I was unsatisfied with my insurance maybe I should get new insurance. I then left a review stating how unsatisfied I was. After speaking with Care resource, they said I should try to reschedule in this office. I was told That THEY feel uncomfortable taking me in. Everything could’ve been avoided. Had someone done their job correctly and found the referral that was sent to them directly from the doctor. There’s no way to miss it and there’s no way to mess it up unless you just don’t know what you’re doing. How dare they say they feel uncomfortable when I was the one who drove all the way to their office at 8 AM in the morning, signed my entire life away with 7000 pieces of paper that I had to consent my life away to. And then sat there in the office and never saw the doctor then harassed and told I should get new insurance and they feel uncomfortable? Someone management was in that office should reach out to me and try to do the right thing instead of refusing me the treatment that I need. But because they’re completely unprofessional and rude, they have decided to refuse me and here is the review.! I hope that you enjoy this review Elgurt Eyecare, because everyone’s gonna see exactly how unprofessional and disgustingly rude you are to patients sent to you through Ryan White and Care Resource. I guess if I had Blue Cross Blue Shield They would’ve been delighted to take me…. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to this office. It was absolutely the worst experience of my life and dealing with these rude ladies on the phone that don’t know what they’re doing or don’t know how to perform. Customer service is absolutely mind blowing. Whoever is the office manager there needs to get their stuff together and train the team correctly to avoid further discrepancies! I will never try to reschedule with this office and my suggestion is you don’t either! I will be filing a discrepancy with Ryan White towards this office.

Went in to get help with swollen eyelids/blocked glands. They examined me , after bringing in two separate staff with the Dr (what is this , an interrogation??) and just told me generic information about using warm compresses, which I had already told the nurse hadn't solve my chronic eyelid problems, instead of doing anything to solve my condition. A total waste of time

The physician (Dr. Lara) I saw for a vitreous hemorrhage was knowledgeable, professional and caring, as was the office staff. I called in after hours and heard back from them shortly thereafter, with an appointment scheduled for the next morning. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

my wife went here and says they were very personable and professional . Able to explain everything so she could understand.Great staff and dr Burgess was excellant.Very capable and accommodating. Highly recommended.Office had all the bells and whistles.

Horrible experience with this place. Poor management. Receptionists are RUDE!!! To make an appointment was a nightmare. Then day of appointment they proceeded to tell me the appointment was canceled. No phone call. Notice. NOTHING. Won't be back.

This is by far the GREATEST place I have ever had the pleasure of going to. Nice helpful staff. Great Doctors. Knowledgeable Professionals too. Very Compassionate as well. Clean bathrooms. Overall great atmosphere. I wish I could give them a 6th Star.

my first impression was very disgusting. From the moment you enter, you feel a nauseating smell of urine in the lobby was so uberable that i have to be forced to leave and wait for my mom outside seating on my car and everything looks filthy. I can't even imagine what the service will be like here. Hygiene and a good environment and medical care leave a lot to be said for a medical center. but this place clearly says a lot about how little other things would matter when it comes to disinfecting the items used to care for patients or how negligent their staff can be It should be visited by the health department so that they conducted a hygiene evaluation of this place. Definitely, I would never return to this barn of pigs, I don't think even they would smell that rancid!

Exceptional Experience from Start to Finish! I recently visited Fort Lauderdale Eye Care and Eyewear, and it was an exceptional experience. From easy online appointment request and a friendly check-in process to a knowledgeable and personable eye doctor, the entire visit was seamless. The highlight was the glasses selection. The staff's patience and expertise helped me find the perfect prescription eyeglasses and non-prescription sunglasses to wear with contacts. I love my sunglasses! This is a top-notch eye care practice and excellent customer service. Highly recommended! Thank you, team, for a wonderful experience!
