What an absolute joke 2 deal with this office..If you would rather argue with the hot mess that runs the front desk and get absolutely nowhere real fast then by all means this is your place 2 go. Takes way 2 long to resolve a simple issue and still have to get mouthed at disrespectfully, no thank you!!

Very nice cataract surgeon. Had an appointment for a consultation for possible cataract surgery. He examined my eyes, took his time, answered my questions, and thankfully I don't need the surgery at the moment,but I will eventually. Dr. Weinstock was genuinely concerned about the health of my eyes, and it's not in a rush to do surgery, like other doctors I've seen (for other than my eyes). Very satisfied with him and the entire practice. Everyone there is exceptionally nice.

I have now had two visits to the Eye Institute of West Florida, one to each location. This is quite a set up, with separate waiting rooms for each "station"; these vary by what you doing at various points in your appointment. Everyone I met at each place was quite helpful and patient with my multiple questions. Dr. Weinstock and others explained things at each stage, but there was a lot to take in &, let's face it; eye surgery can be a bit scary. Lindsey Purviance, Surgical Counselor, has been my primary contact so far. I've called with so many queries, it's a wonder she hasn't changed her phone number! The result of all of this is that I am confident that I will get the best care possible when I go in next week to have my first cataract removed. The only suggestion I have is that it would be helpful if each person along the way gave patients their cards, so we would know who we talked with, even if they left off their phone numbers.

Dr. Robert J. Weinstock deserves 10 stars. I immediately felt comfortable with him which is rare for me. During the consultation he discussed his plan for my cataract surgery. Then he asked for my input and what outcome I hoped to achieve after the surgery. I trusted him 100% with my eyes and he did not disappoint. Try to imagine having HGTV in your eyes. Everything is so vivid and clear. I can see the stars in the night sky. Colors are bursting. I can drive again at night. I am ecstatic with my eyes. I challenge anyone with cataracts or sight issues to visit Dr. Weinstock, he is a Rockstar. I am 67 years old. I should have had this surgery years ago. I am extremely thankful to Dr. Weinstock and his staff.

Of my 2-3 years of employment at Onsight, I have witnessed nothing but verbal abuse, threats of termination, intimidation, and constant undeserving berating. Owner Mike Shane can be heard at almost all times talking down to his workers and completely disregards any health conditions that may affect one's presence. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs, do not waste your money here. There are other optical locations within the area that are infinitely better.

Toxic work environment. Owner Mike Shane openly screams at and talks down to his employees. As a former pregnant employee I felt discriminated against & threatened. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

ive only been here one time, but i immediately felt how horrible the owner made the environment with his attitude and overall demeanor. I can honestly say the employees are great, its just the owner that needs an attitude check. dont waste your time here.

The manager Mark, as well as Samantha are exemplary employees. They are professional, friendly, knowledgable and extremely experienced. ALWAYS beyond helpful anytime , providing expert advise !! The selection of frames, in addition to terrific prices are superb ! I have been getting my Eyewear for years at Sam's club. I have another club membership that meets my dietary needs , but I will be renewing my Sam's club membership based soley on the exceptional Optical department ! Thank you Mark and Samantha !

My family and I have been shopping at Sams, since it was PACE. I took my teen son for eyeglasses there 2 years ago. He chose the most costly frame. (which looked great on him) A frame that would have cost 3X the price elsewhere. I like the three specialists that works there. The girl has a very likeable, gentle personality that works well with kids and women, she is very calm and patient. Marcus is very matter-of-fact, which works for men. He's very knowledgeable in matters that deal with the EYES, and always willing to share valuable insights on things that matters to the patients. The other gentleman also does an exceptional job, even though I've never had a chance to interact with him, other than saying 'hi' but I listen sometimes when hes with patients. I like the fact that they know, and do what they do, very well, and I would even say, with excellence. They don't have to stop, and ask someone else 12 questions, and keep back patients. Since then, my family and I, have chosen to have our eye exams, and eyewear done at Sams, and have recommended families, and friends to take a second look at the Vision Center. Together they all are a great fit, that suits The Sams Community.
