Giving credit to Dr. Uyemura & his assistant (Annie)
Dr. Uyemura is good. Treated my daughter with respect. His assistant, Annie was kind and explained/ communicated well with us. However, the front receptionists & the female scheduling coordinator were more in the rude side. The surgery coordinator made my 10 year old daughter ( and myself) feel extremely uncomfortable with her customer service towards us. How she was wording everything to her passive aggressive actions of giving our paper work.
Front receptionists- I noticed they pick and choose who they want to give good service to.

I Love Dr. Uyemura, he has been my son's eye Dr. since he was 2. I Received a call from a collection office today that I had an unpaid bill with Dr. Uyemura's office from 2015. My Insurance company accepted the claim then rejected it 8 months later. I never received a letter or a phone call stating it has been rejected and I needed to pay it. I was just in their office in October and nobody mentioned it to me. The bill was for $105. Now I have a ding on my excellent credit score! The lady at their office was not helpful and she just kept saying they sent me 3 letters. I'm so frustrated right now! Time to find a new Dr. which is so unfortunate because we have been here for so many years. I owed the money and I would have gladly paid it had I known the insurance company rejected the claim. I just won't go through this again and have my credit suffer for something that I would have paid immediately, had they told me about it.

my daughter ended up getting glasses and they made the experience for her great! I really appreciate the visit my daughter is now excited to get glasses and before she was very nervous about the idea of getting glasses. The people made her feel comfortable and excited! Great place!

Apex has the best customer service and optometry team. I love seeing Dr Lopez! She is thorough in her examination and is just a wonderful person to chat with.
I worked with April at the front desk, and she was so kind and welcoming.

Absolutely the best doctor I’ve ever met. Super kind, knowledgeable, and won’t screw you over with outrageous prices. Cannot say enough good things about this place. The staff was amazing, efficient, and the whole process to get glasses worked out perfectly for my schedule. This is where I’m bringing my family come for their eye care, without a doubt.

Dr. James Dinnebeck went above and beyond and found time to schedule me in for an infected eyelid at the last second. It was much appreciated. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful over the phone too. It really made a stressful situation turn into a pleasant experience. Dr. Dinnebeck took the time to listen to the concerns my mother and I had about my eye infection and we never felt rushed. We got some good laughs in too. Thank you for a great first visit!
