My wife and I stopped by for an exam and glasses. The receptionist, assistant, and doctor were professional and helpful. After the exam, we picked out glasses with Natasha. As well as being polite and professional, she was witty and helpful. Very good customer service skills. Overall, it was a good experience.

My experience was not good! For contact exam $144—— after getting correct lens strength I was told they’d have to order my “trials” (they only had one box 2 days) new contact Accuvue Oasys Max… upon checking out the young girl said “oh, those aren’t in the system so I don’t know price or when we’ll get any in” - I asked if she would call me when I can place an order ….WELL it’s been 32 days and NO ONE from office has ever called to say “hey your trials are in or we got your products” —- all they seemed to care about was getting you in and out. If a customer comes in for a contact exam, they most likely NEED contacts ! Of course I know I can call around and find out who sells them. This is not like going to a “family or small owned eye doctor” where they know you and call with followup on your products.

OMG what an exceptional eye care center is St. Luke’s at the Villages Lake Sumter. My thanks to Dr. Ireland and Dr. Miranda for such outstanding care. Dr. Ireland removed my cataracts, and Dr. Miranda did my follow up care. You could not ask for a more efficient and professional team. From the time I entered the front door, all of the staff including front desk, nurses, and all the supporting staff exceeded my expectations. Thank you Dr. Ireland and staff for my amazing experience!

Last week I went to have my second cataract surgery done. As with the first, everyone at St. Luke's are professional, from the ladies at the check-in desk, the nurses and staff that take you back to prepare you, stay with you, and the one who wheels you out, or in my case walks you out. To the follow-up staff and of course the doctors who are great as well. I would highly recommend St. Luke's for your eye needs.

All of the staff are Very Friendly, Professional, and Polite. Things were explained in an every day conversation status, so I would understand. I REALLY appreciated that. Dr. Patrick Miranda was so patient in explaining and answering questions, I had. Just an OUTSTANDING group of people.

Peepers at the Colony is an excellent place. Rachel is outstanding … shares her cast expertise and years of eye care experience with each patient. She take obvious pride in fully explaining our options and accommodates meeting our choices. Rachel’s reputation precedes her at St. Luke’s Opthamology, who highly recommended her after my eye exam!! Can’t go wrong with Peepers and Rachel!!

Wow, best of the best for your eye care needs. I would rate ten stars if I could. Dr. Collins was as professional as they come, in both his exam, and explanation of why I was in need of cataract surgery. Melissa and Rachael were both helpful from the time I entered the office, to helping me understand the next steps in getting my surgery done at St. Luke’s. I highly recommend Peepers Eyecare & Vision Center!

As a 45 year retired Board Certified Optometrist, (not affiliated) I am usually not impressed by others. BUT Peepers is the most professional eye care establishment here in The Villages I was able to go from my last post op visit at St Lukes (which is also highly recommended) for my cataracts to a pair of new glasses in 2 hours. WOW! They delivered as promised and then went above and beyond. I ordered 2 more pairs and instead of the 2 days turn around I got 2 hours, again super WOW. Great friendly staff, highest level of professionalism and great low prices.

From the Front Desk check in, to Check out, Lake Eye Associates team and doctors offer their patients genuine kindness, and respect. In my latest experience, the wait time was minimal. Tech (Wendy Peters) reviewed my past medical history in such a way - it felt like I was connecting with a long time friend - over a cup coffee. Love the perks of a Patient Portal, which kept all the paperwork to a minimum. Dr. Vazquez was/is polite, professional, easy to talk with, and I respect his opinion. I recommend Lake Eye Associates for anyone looking for quality medical attention, (for eyes)- in a warm and caring environment. 😇

Excellent experience. Each staff member was both professional and efficient. It was very crowded, but perhaps that's because they are very good. Made my appointment for next year!
