I liked Dr Larson. She was easy to talk to and she was a good listener. She gave me clear after visit instructions as to how to handle my issue and asked me to return in 3 weeks. I thought she was very thorough and answered all my questions.

Excellent ophthalmologist and surgeon. Not only have I had excellent personal experience with Dr. Malik in regard to glaucoma treatment and cataract surgery, but my own family doctor was thrilled when she heard I was seeing him. According to my family physician, Dr. Malik is an excellent all-around eye doctor and she would refer people to him (and has) for any eye problem. He is also very sensitive to patients' feelings and is very comforting and affirming.

I went into the office Saturday 23 , 2025 at 9:30. The staff was super super nice and very friendly. I will definitely return.

I have been coming to the eye institute since I moved to Philly in ‘17 and all of the student doctors as well as the residents have been amazing. I want to especially highlight the resident And student doctors that I had the please of meeting this past Thursday when I went in for an emergency because I could not take my scleral Lens out and unfortunately I slept in it the night before because of it; however when I went in they took time out to check my vision after removing the lens and educating and reminding me why it’s soimportant to take them out every night. They also gave me the tools to take my lens out as well. Such a great place to go for eye care

Dr. R is really good. My 98yr old mother has been with him for about 12 yrs. She hasn't seen him for a couple of years. However, we have been getting refills for every 3-6 months. They recently converted to a new system. We called for another refill with the understanding of the need to make an apptmt and the prescription person still denied the prescription . She needs to go to an apptmt first. .. wow... so now my 98 yr old mother has to wait for an apptmt. Ridiculous. So I am giving a low review NOT for the DR. but for the person in charge of prescriptions. Guess she doesn't have an elderly person to take care of.

I waited 2.5 hours in a cramped dirty room where people were listening to music from their phones at full volume, children were screaming, and the staff did not try to maintain discipline. It looked like a line at Saul Goodman's reception area. After 2.5 hours, a man in a wrinkled T-shirt and pants stained with paint (I thought he was a constructor) called me into the office, where he examined me on a machine, then a doctor came out, spent 1 minute measuring my eye pressure and said that the appointment was over for today. Why did I wait in line for 2.5 hours in a terrible environment so as not to receive a consultation on a previously stated problem (retinal dystrophy)?!

Dr Nguyen and her staff have been very knowledgable and my yearly visits are always pleasant. I have never had a negative experience w/ anyone there. Making an appointment has never been a hassle. 🫶 Its odd that the negative reviews are issues about their frames and lenses being made which is done from a 3rd party so those negative reviews should be moved to the correct party 🤔 The doctor and staff that work IN the office have no control over the staff at the lab (remember- 3rd party) when it comes to those frame and lenses. Also, depends on how blind you are and how much you invest in those lenses… so if it isnt flush, well why blame the staff again? Its either your choice on how much you want to spend or because your vision is so bad the technology to make them look thin and flush w/ the frame hasnt been invented yet. I’m pretty much legally blind and am self aware that no matter how much I spend on my lenses, they will never be thin to be in flush w/ the frame. But hey what do I know, this is just my two cents since most people aren’t aware about things like this. The more you know. Downside- parking downtown can be a bit stressful depending on the time you need to be at your appointment. But thats not the doctor or the staffs fault either. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Reiterating- This is a review about the people who work IN the office/clinic and have no control over what goes on OUTSIDE the office. ✌️

Dr Olivetti is absolutely outstanding. I have been under her care since 8/2022. She listens to your concerns, does a thorough exam, is very knowledgeable, compassionate and pleasant. Thank you Dr Olivetti for all you do.

Dr Awad and his team were very professional. He is very knowledgeable about the latest techniques of surgical options to help me regain the sight in my right eye. All of my options were given to me and the pluses, minuses, and typical end results were explained to me in detail. I would, and will, highly recommend him to anyone.

I highly recommend Coastal Vision Medical Group. The office in chino hills is beautiful! Very clean, calm, and inviting environment. I first with Catherine who was absolutely Amazing! She is extremely nice and very informative. I felt welcomed and valued as a patient. The anxiety I had about LASIK surgery was instantly gone. All of my questions were answered in detail. I met with Dr Rude who was very nice and very knowledgeable. He was very thorough and he made me feel confident in him and their team. Scheduling is quick and easy. They are very accommodating to my schedule. I have scheduled my LASIK surgery and I do not have a doubt in my mind that I am in good hands!
