Had a lovely visit today at Costal Vision Center. The staff was kind and Dr. Bruce was very compassionate!

My daughter came here for an eye exam and glasses. Upon entry, we were greeted by a super friendly staff member. The building was incredibly clean and well organized. The glasses displays were fully stock and had many different options to choose from. Dr. Bruce was the best! She was super friendly and she throughly explained each step to us before proceeding. She’s the best. By the end of the appointment, I ended making myself an appointment as well.

The office was busy but even though i had to wait i didn’t mind. This was first time getting my eyes dilated. The techs were super friendly walking me through the images of my eyes. Even testing the pressure of my eye telling me to relax. Dr Wong was amazing explains every image and everything she was doing! Made me feel safe and knowledgeable after my appt def rec this office ! Even the front office staff was nice. Thank you

Updated review: my first visit review was true. Every visit since then has been massively long waits upwards of an hour after the appointment time. They are always overbooked. There’s never enough seating for all the people they are scheduling at the Torrance office. The San Pedro office has a lot more room. I was supposed to see Opthamology and only ever saw an optometrist who had little experience with my disease. I will still agree that the staff is nice but the working conditions seem cramped and strained. First review: The service was quick and efficient. The staff is really nice and professional. Small office and a bit crowded feeling today but clean and orderly nonetheless. The doctor was concerned and mostly thorough once she familiarized herself with my history since I’m a new patient to her. I was well taken care of and I will definitely go back.

I feel that the staff develops personal relationships with the patients and the service of care is very good. The staff cares. It’s really hard to get in through the call center. Once in the office, every one is helpful and make sure that you’re getting great service for your eyes.

The surgery itself was not fun, but quick. Dr. Lusby was extremely kind and thorough. I did not expect to be so loopy from the Xanax, which was given to me shortly before the surgery, so I am grateful that Nelly was there to care for me pre and post surgery. She offered a lot of support and information to me and my daughter about what to expect during the next 24hrs of my recovery, which was invaluable. Had she not been so clear and descriptive, I likely would have been in distress about the discomfort that I experienced following the surgery. Not that it was painful, just inexplicably unpleasant. The only thing that I would add, is that you pre-plan to have someone at home to make sure you eat and take your medication before you fall asleep. Apparently I was being a bit stubborn… Thank you Dr. Lusby, Nelly, and entire NVison Torrance staff!! It’s one day after my surgery, and I am beyond thrilled with my results.

Like most who have had LASIK, I too wish I had only done it sooner! The staff and Doctors at NVISION were absolutely incredible - from my very first consultation until my last post-op appointment 6 months after surgery. Eachbabd every person there is so kind, answered every question and eased every concern I had each step of the way. The surgery and recovery were so smooth and much faster than anticipated and was proof of their expertise in this specialty. I would recommend NVISION to anyone looking to undergo LASIK, they are best in class in every aspect and I’m so glad I chose them!

Very professional and personal at the same time. Something like eye surgery can be very anxiety producing and, as such, requires sensitive, compassionate, and deft dealing with a wide range of patient issues. Having only met Dr, Brar and his team for the first time today, I felt listened to, respected, and genuinely cared about. Unusual in many settings these days.

My eye exam went well. Dr. Parfenova was so knowledgeable, and kind. I had a great experience. From calling to make an eye appointment to selecting my frames, the staff made everything easy. Their office had nice equipment, a wide selection of frames, and an overall organized, spacious ambiance.

This was my first time at Advanced Family Eye Care. We are new to the area and I needed an appointment pretty quickly. Luckily they were able to see me same day. Dr. Anna Parfenova is very friendly and took her time to explain the exam. I also appreciate the kindness and professionalism demonstrated in the office. The employees demonstrated superior customer service and I felt like I was in good hands there. I was previously with the same eye doctor for 15 years and wasn’t looking forward to changing doctors. Thankfully I found Advance Family Eye Care.
