My young daughter needed an eye exam and glasses. The staff was amazing! They made my daughter feel very comfortable as it was her first time getting her eyes examined. The staff was super patient with my daughter and incredibly knowledgeable! My daughter and I had fun looking at the wide variety of frames, Stanton had on display. The store was super clean and organized! We even got my daughters glasses the same day! The price was super reasonable as well! Thank you, Max and the rest of the staff!

We got through the virtual assessment and I still couldn’t see clearly when they showed me the prescription. Instead of taking their time the assessment was over. This was wasted time and money. I’ve sworn off Stanton entirely. However, the front staff is really nice and considerate. They were really great. Even though there was a fair number of customers they were always polite, professional, and never rushed you.

I was able to be seen as a walk in which was very convenient. Bianey was super nice and the rest of the staff made my experience go very smoothly. 10/10 Lots of Frame options as well

I came here after hearing semi good things about this place. Please just go else where. For my initial visit I had my appointment right when they opened and I was finally able to leave 3+ hours later because they were helping other ppl first even though I had an appointment. Only reason I left when I left was because I told them I had to go. The girls at the front desk are so unprofessional. When I called to schedule my follow up they didn’t even know for what or anything. Almost a month later and I still haven’t been able to get my contacts ordered. Came in for my follow up appointment and they didn’t want to see me. Nobody told me the sample contacts he gave me that I had to wear them to the appointment (they aren’t even my actual prescription). So now I have to come back 2 days later. Such a huge inconvenience for me. Never coming back after this. If you wanna have to wait more than a month from your first visit to order anything go ahead and come here.

Although this is a Very busy office, the staff & Dr. are never too busy to answer your questions and go over with you any concerns you may have. Prompt curtious check-in's at the front desk, clean office that is warm & inviting. … More

Had appointment scheduled at 8:15am today. Arrived at 8:00.Still waiting 30 minutes later. Receptionist called my name just to say your insurance.... I replied what about it? She said have a seat. Already not impressed.

Highly recommend Dr Caputo if you need your vision checked for glasses. Both my husband and I have seen her, & we've been extremely pleased with the quality of medical care she provides. She also has a great "bedside manner."

Updated from 2 years ago: I originally gave a 5 star review which unfortunately needs to be changed. I attempted on 3 separate occasions to schedule a regular eye exam. They gave me the run around and said I would need to pay $125 even though I have checked multiple times that it would be covered by my insurance. I wrote them two separate emails with proof of this, only to be completely ignored. I really liked going to this office so I am truly bummed I can no longer be a patient here. __________________________________ I had a freak accident on New Years Eve with a cork hitting my eye (yes that actually happens to people LOL). I had traumatic hyphema but I was very fortunate that I didn't lose my eye. The ER referred me to follow up with Monterey County Eye Associates. When I called, they were able to get me in right away. Dr. Dautremont was assigned to my case and she and the whole staff were amazing with helping me. The Dr made sure to follow up with her several times to make sure I was healing properly and I'm grateful to say I am completely fine now. I will absolutely be going back for my yearly eye exam with them. Thank you MCEA!

I want to start out by saying I am impressed by the doctors who are knowledgeable and caring, but I am afraid my compliments stop here. I have never seen so many negative reviews of a medical facility! By far my biggest complaint is with the scheduling department. I was scheduled for cataract surgery on 9/28/23, but it was canceled the morning of surgery due to understaffing. I understand this, so it didn’t bother too much thinking I’d be rescheduled ASAP. The person at the eye center said the rescheduling department would contact me after eight o’clock. When I didn’t hear from them, I called at around eleven o’clock and left a message. Since I received no response, I called again at two o’clock, left message, no response! I called again at around 4:30 and someone answered! Miracle! As you can imagine, I was extremely agitated! I had to ask for her name. She said she did not know with whom I left a message; however, I did. She said the three schedulers were working on rescheduling and she had no answer. Two sentences later she came up with a date of 1/4/24. Now, she contradicted herself from saying they are working on it to here’s a date over three months away! I have never been so poorly treated by anyone, let alone in a medical facility. Also. I left a message with the director of scheduling and I have not heard from her in three days!
