I started going to Private Eyes nearly 10 years ago. Within three years of my first visit I moved to Newport Beach. Orange is pretty far, especially with traffic on the 55. But nothing - NOTHING - will deter me from continuing to go to Private Eye and Dr. Hsu. My eye health is super important as a designer on the computer many hours a day. Dr Hue and her team have been simply amazing at providing the care and service needed to keep my eyes and vision healthy. Highly recommended!

I've been going here for years and have been having an excellent experience with Dr Hsu and Dr Quang. Both respectful, friendly, pleasant, and extremely knowledgeable. I've also had the pleasure to obtain a couple set of glasses here, and the optician is also fantastic to work with. Highly recommend for all your optometry needs!

Excellent service and great experience at Hello Optometry. I needed to renew my contract lenses prescription but my doctor Edward not only helped with my eye exam but also patiently explained why my eyes got dried out quickly in a easy way and how to take care of my eyes from daily. Very professional and detailed, high recommended! Doctor Edward is very hot too.

I had the best experience at Hello Optometry! Dr. Edward and his staff are amazing! Everyone was so welcoming and friendly, they really make you feel like family. I’ve worn glasses for as long as I can remember and this is hands down the nicest optometry office I’ve ever been to! The modern decor makes you forget you’re even at the doctors! I would definitely recommend Hello Optometry to all my friends and family!

What a great find ! Dr Edward and staff are so thoughtful and went above & beyond to get me exactly what I wanted and needed. I will continue to use their optometry every time I have any needs. So much better than the “big stores” — so personal and friendly. The selection of eyewear is unique and high quality. My new frames and lenses look great and I get compliments on them all the time

STAY AWAY!!! They care more about charging your insurance, rather than listening to the patient. They said my initial visit will require dilating my eyes, FYI, my consultation wasn't for my eye, but for my eyelid. I noted that I'm there for my eye lid, and only 1 eye, not both. Receptionist stated they would still dilate both eyes. NO THANKS, don't need an unnecessary procedure. Go find some else insurance to bill for an unnecessary procedure. I'll relay this to my insurance with the hope of removing them from the network.

Love this place and docs are great but overbooking is out of control and now a new policy of $50 if you need to leave before you get in. Waiting 45 minutes or more to get in is ridiculous but it costs you if you want to rebook.

This review is tough. I love Dr. Garcia, he was fantastic and the staff are all very nice. If just for him I would have given 5 stars. The problem, and it is a large one, is how busy the office is. I had a 9:15 appointment. I was there early for paperwork. I didn't leave the appointment until 10:40. For a routine exam this is unacceptable. They clearly are overbooked, they must be putting at least 2 people every 15 minutes, given the number of people in the office. I hope the office reconsiders what policy they have to show their patients a little more respect for their time.
