I have just received a letter from dr. Berg’s lawyers threatening to sue me for my review. Therefore, I am going to restate the facts concerning my LASIK procedure by leaving out any personal consideration. I was evaluated by Dr. Murthy for LASIK as a corrective procedure of my nearsightedness, who stated that the risk with LASIK was only associated with the suction ring used during the surgery to keep your eye in place, as it puts pressure on the eye and can detach the retina. He then added that Dr. Berg did not use the suction ring and that I was good to have the procedure done with him. At my first visit, in August 2017, after doing several tests to asses if I was in fact a candidate, Dr. Berg stated that I was the perfect candidate and that I was going to have perfect vision. When I asked him about what dr. Murthy said of the suction ring, he replied that he had no idea why dr. Murthy said that, as he does use the suction ring, but he reassured me that the procedure would not affect my eye retina in any way. As a side fact, I also received a discount for being referred by dr. Murthy. So I had my procedure done at the end of August 2017. At the followup visit I informed Dr. Berg that my vision in the right eye was not good. He said it was okay. Three weeks later I started experiencing symptoms of a retinal detachment, so I got an appointment with Dr. Murthy. He looked at my retina and said that it was all good, and that he was going to see me in a year. I waited a couple more weeks, in which my symptoms continued to worsen, and then I decided to go see a different retina specialist. I had an extensive retina detachment and went into urgent eye surgery. I now have almost fully recovered from the buckle surgery, and I’m wearing corrective glasses as I’m left with -2.00 in the right eye. I also have difficulty wearing contact lenses now, as I’ve developed chronic dry eye disease following the LASIK procedure. Interesting fact: the “informed consent” that they had me sign does include retinal detachment among the risks associated with LASIK, and I quote “I understand that other very rear complications threatening vision include, but are not limited to, corneal swelling, corneal thinning (ecstasia), appearance of “floaters” and RETINAL DETACHMENT, hemorrhage, venous and arterial blockage, catara formation, total blindness, and even loss of my eye”. But Dr. Berg verbally stated that it is not true. And dr. Berg’s lawyers state in their letter that “The fact of the matter is injury to the retina is not a known risk of LASIK”. I must add that one retina specialist and two optometrist I have seen, said that my detachment could have indeed been caused by the suction ring. I will make these precise statements under oath if necessary.

Horrible experience today, from the "specialist" telling my autistic son to be quiet and lower his tablet, which was not loud, to her telling my other autistic son he needs to pay attention and behave. She continously made rude gestures, sounds, held her head, and rolled her eyes. She was so rude, impatient, unempathetic, and extremely unprofessional. Will never go there again. Avoid seeing Nahid Abdali, extremely rude and unprofessional.

San Tan Eye Care is the best. The doctors and overall employees are great! The front desk could be better. Christie is one of the employee that is very nice and solve any issues with professionalism manner. Before we knew her name, at home, we name her "the nice lady". She never changes. She is always positive and connected with her customers. Anytime we go to the office to order eyeglasses or readjustment, Christie makes our experiences great!!!

I was greeted at check in with a smile and a few laughs ! It took less than a minute. My wait for the Dr was maybe five minutes. The technician that worked with me first was extremely knowledgeable , answered questions and was a joy to talk with The doctor then came in to finish my evaluation Again assured me of what was happening with my vision. He was sharp and explained what I needed to do clearly Just can’t get better than that !

Dr. Sieminski is a combination of professionalism and warmth. She successfully removed cataracts in both my eyes and has monitored my daughter and I for Glaucoma. I highly recommend her.

Took both daughters to get eye exam done. Quick, friendly, and answered all questions I had. Would recommended

Great place, good people, they take care of their customers. The only downside of using them is that if you need to submit any electronic documents for your insurance or workplace certification, they DO NOT have email. It's May, 2023. What business in the USA does NOT have an email or a web portal for customer needs. Finding out this information will force me to find a new location for vision care, which sucks. I guess if you can't change w/ the times then you get left behind.

My experience with Dr. Glloth was outstanding. He’s up-to-date. He knows his work and does an excellent job at it. The office is kind and very polite. I recommend him highly five stars if not a six he’s outstanding.

I will address the staff first because I interacted with them first. I found the staff to be very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I was greeted immediately upon entering the building, and then spent minimal time in the waiting area, which, by the way, was lovely, very clean and cutely decorated. Dr. Toland very thoroughly explained what was going on with my eyes and was able to coach me as to what I needed to do to take care of them. I felt comfortable speaking with Dr. Toland and felt that all my questions and concerns were taken care of before I left the office.
