Competent and empathic doctor. What else could one ask for? I was very happy with the care I was provided. Dr. McCarty performed an excision on my eyelids. It was fast and done well!

Everyone there is very polite, and respectful. My ophthalmologist and her assistant were professional yet personable, making me feel comfortable from the very start. It's been a while, but my memory of ophthalmologists is one of aloofness and professionally friendly, not the warmth to which I was treated.

First visit and impressions: Intake experience could have been better. Medical staff were professional and thorough, especially a member named Victor. The Dr was empathetic, informative and as far as I can tell in this first visit, professionally knowledgeable. I do wish this office gave out a printed summary of the office visit and instructions as are executed by some other medical offices. Verbal instructions to patients are not best recalled accurately.

My husband and I recently moved to Tucson. When I asked around about a good optician, several folks recommended this office. I was NOT disappointed! The ladies at the desk were very warm and friendly, the young woman who did the initial tests to get me prepped for the Dr was very professional and knowledgeable. She was very comforting during an uncomfortable test and the Dr actually said that her assessment was ALMOST spot on as far as my vision goes. That's AMAZING! The doctor was very personable and professional. He explained everything in terms I understood, he told me WHY he recommended one thing over the other, and just really made me feel comfortable. Al at the optic desk was AMAZING! He really took his time with me helping me choose frames that suit my vision as well as my face, he explained my options from my insurance coverage and what each option meant for me. He was professional and so very helpful! I'm so excited to have found such a great Optician and Optical Surgical practice! 100☆'s

Went in for my father's appointment. He has dementia and Francisca was so amazing with my father. Patient, friendly, assertive when needed and very understanding. The gentleman that helped afterwards was also very professional and friendly. Grateful that they both spoke Spanish! Very helpful!! Definitely recommend coming here.

Dr. Flores and his staff were very accommodating of my urgent eye issue. They worked me in for a visit the same morning that I called. Extremely nice staff and physician. I highly recommend without reservation. Thank you!

Staff were all very professional and competent. Only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was that I had to wait 1 hour and 45 minutes to see the doctor. One patient who had an appointment scheduled 45 minutes after mine with the same doctor, got in before I did. Seems their scheduling could use some work.

Always super friendly staff, and excellent eye care. I've been with Dr. Kilgore for a few years, and she's wonderful, one of the kindest human beings on the planet! No matter which location I go to, everyone is always nice and friendly... I highly recommend this group!

My husband was seen here as a new patient and it was awful. This place is a clinic. His appointment time was 3:00pm. We checked in and they immediately called us back. They dilated his eyes and walked us to a second waiting room. We sat there for 1 hour and 55 minutes waiting. The only reason we didn’t walk out was because of the dilation, however that wore completely off before we were seen. Mind you this place closes at 5. When he was finally called into a room in smelled awful of body odor from the last patient. We saw that patient walk out so we know they did not clean a thing in the room before seating him. It was filthy. I tried to go to the restroom and someone had peed all over it as well. The doctor came in and was in and out in less than 3 minutes. Meanwhile, they had a whole patient roster including my husbands stats up on a computer which is a breach of hippa. When I tried to politely raise concerns about it with the receptionist on the way out she rolled her eyes at me. Now here’s the fun part: they fraudulently billed our insurance company for services that were never rendered. Im sure they do this to pad the bill, expecting people to not actually look at their eobs. I work in medical coding however. When my husband called to discuss this with their billing manager she talked over him the whole time and was extremely rude. We are reporting the fraud to our insurance company at this point. So if you want an unsterile environment where you spend half your day and then having to deal with insurance fraud this is the place for you. If not steer far away from this hole.

This was my first time going there. The staff was kind and very professional. I felt comfortable the entire time. I loved that they made my little daughter feel comfortable too! She was even asked to be a “helper” at one point. She distrusts every type of doctors but she felt at ease there. That, to me, is enough of a selling point. I’ll be returning there and bringing my family as well!

I've been in Tucson for 32 years and I have seen a lot of eye doctors and there was only one I liked, but the doctor I had does not accept my insurance, but From the minute I walked into the door, I was welcomed by Bianca who I believe was the office manager. They were totally professional and friendly, and helped with my eye care needs. Dr. McCourt was professional and answered all my questions and I was very comfortable with him and his service. I highly recommend Advance Vision for all your eye care needs. I will definitely be returning as a continuous customer. Alexandra Munro
