Friendly and helpful staff seemed happy to work there. Dr. Is detailed and explains everything for me. My family uses the same Dr. And we are all very happy. I do recommend to co-workers and friends.

I had a crazy tight schedule the day I went and Dr Mike and his team did Everything they could to get me in and out in a very timely manner!! I really appreciate all their efforts!! Love Dr Mike, he is the best!

This was my 1st time at this location and everyone was great. The office is so comfortable and beautiful. The whole process was quick and thorough. I love how the doctor explained everything and taught me some things I didn't know about how they test for certain things and showed me what he looks for in my retina scan results. I can't wait to get my new glasses in a few days. There were so many frames to choose from.

Dr. Franklin listens intently, is compassionate, and explains everything without hesitation. His support staff is great, and Hailey in optical goes above and beyond expectations with service and assistance!! I am thrilled to have been referred here!

This was my first time seeing Dr. Tyler Hall at UAB Callahan Eye Clinic at the Cahaba River Rd. I was referred there by the Hoover office. I arrived earlier than expected bc, I was coming from another location. And I didn’t won’t to be late! I was greeted by a nice & friendly young lady at the front desk who Checked me in for my appointment. Apparently, Kids and babies are seen at this location too. And one of the Doctors was seeing the little ones too that day! It was a few in the waiting area. I was seated for about a 6-10 minutes wait time before being called back to be seen. The young lady introduced herself as Dr Hall’s Tech Assistant, and seated me for my initial eye exams to begin. She was very pleasant, polite and explained everything. Whew! But her exam was very thorough and professional. Bc, I’ve had plenty of tests done in the past years and she was very thorough! After, the eye exams with the charts and B/P testing were done. She dilated my eyes for the final part of the exam to be done. I was seated In the room for the drops to become effective. Dr. Hall came into the hallway and introduced himself to me and asked me to follow him back for the next part of my eye examination. His other Assistant was with him & she was at the computer imputing the information that he was relying. After, my complete and final exam. I was given a thorough review of my eyes health and conditions. Prescriptions was sent to my pharmacy. I was fully informed of everything that I needed to know about my eye health! The Atmosphere was a little bit busy only bc of the little ones & the play room. But, it wasn’t really bad! Everyone was friendly and polite. “VERY PROFESSIONAL EYE EXAM!”

I brought my 9 month old here for an eye exam, and the other (older) reviews made me nervous, but my experience was great and I thought it would might be helpful to other parents to share. We didn't spend more than 5 minutes waiting to be called into an exam room, and once there, the exam began immediately. I was in, out, and back to work earlier than I thought I would be based on the older reviews. I noticed most of them were posted at the start of the pandemic, so I don't know if this clinic was struggling for those reasons like other clinics were at that time, but it really seems like a great place to take your kids for an eye exam. The staff was great with my baby, and she seemed to genuinely enjoy the attention she was getting. Dr. Patel was wonderful, as was her assistant, Valerie. We'll definitely be coming back whenever we need another routine eye exam in the future.

My daughter just received a pair of glasses from this clinic through sight savers. The staff is super friendly! Mr.John in particular was very kind to both my children even though only one was being seen! Thanks Mr.John! I cherish everyone that is kind to my autistic baby girl. And she remembers you for it too!!

Always my go to place! Dr. Vanoy is so intelligent and kind. She found a problem and sent me to a specialist and is on top of any issues at my check. Wouldn’t trust any other place! The staff is the very best too!!!!
