What a great experience!!! Very thorough!! As a 65 yo who has worn contacts since age 12, I have NEVER had sharper vision. Will make the trip from Huntsville again and again for excellent eye care.

I really like Dr. Holly Young. She is more than just my eye doctor. She is super attentive to details about the rest of my medical history and has found problems beyond just vision. She encourages me to stay focused on me and get follow ups with specialists. The staff is always very prompt, friendly and professional.

I had hoped exam would resolve eye pain, light sensitivity and new glasses prescription. They’ve diagnosed cataract surgery required. It’s scheduled and hopefully we can achieve best results in the near future. Until then, my review in pending lots of follow-up. In the meantime, can say staff were great. Doc ?

Dr Velasquez and all the staff at AVC are very professional, but are personable as well. I never really have to wait long, I'm engaged as soon as I arrive, and told everything I need to know at every step through the process. I'm a travel nurse, so I have to reschedule my appointments sometimes and it is never held against me. All in all I like Dr Velasquez-he is an excellent clinician, and all around good guy. The staff, are great ppl, good at their job, and good conversationalists as well. I actually look forward to going to my yearly eye appointment.

I live out of state but was passing through the area when I had sudden need of an optician. Smith’s was the best! They helped me right away, were empathetic, fast and went above and beyond. Highly recommend.

I had an appointment for an eye exam on June 6th of this year. Wanted to order contact lenses and was told that it was a special order and It would take two weeks to a month. No communication had to keep reaching out for info on my prescription. Now I have been told that it is out of stock when last time I was told it was specially ordered and had to be made because of my vision issues. Now have been told that there's no time frame as to when I will get my contacts. I could have gone somewhere else and have the ability to see better. Oh and when I asked for the prescription they would not give it to me even though I've already paid for it.

ask if which tests are included with your insurance, some tests are not necessary and are the same . you will not if you dont ask before . and you will have a bigger bill than expected. get an explaination or print out your insurance covers. we had a bigger bill for some tests that were not needed.

I'd give no stars if I could..first I leave thinking they put in my order for 6 month supply of contacts.2nd it takes them a month to get back to me only to tell me it never went threw. 3rd when I try again to get them to order the 6month supply over the phone they call me back 2 weeks latter to tell me my one contact ID waiting for me...I'd rather go to Walmart and pay full price
