Highly recommend!! I had an infected tear duct and they managed to schedule me in 2 hours after calling to be seen. The staff was incredibly friendly, kind, and efficient. I'm usually a nervous wreck at the doctor's but I immediately felt at ease here. I will be making them my primary optometrist!

The humans at this place are magnificent, extremely polite, very welcoming and respectful. I appreciate the ability to receive texts and text back. I get immediate response and they do everything to accommodate my busy schedule. Dr. Smith is the best and I am happy to be their patients. Highly recommend this place.

A+ for the services! Dr. Huff is super nice and very professional, Shout out to Pearl who help us find our perfect eyeglasses and giving us the best accomodation. All staffs are super friendly. Keep up the good work!

I took my 4 girls there this year, the staffs are very nice and welcoming. And there is no wait time at all. Wr signed in then 2 minutes later we got called. Very good experience.

I’ve gone two years in a row now and have had a wonderful experience, Dr. Adam Huff listens to my concerns, treats me with respect and doesn’t talk down to me. I’ve had multiple eye doctors in my life who didn’t listen or couldn’t help give me a prescription that actually helped my eyes, the staff is all so kind and friendly, I would recommend everyone here.

I was seen for an eye exam they wrote me a prescription, order glasses from an online dealer got the glasses and the prescription was way off I couldn’t even see in them, I was so frustrated I waited a bit to back in touch with them. Then once I did they told me it had been too long and that I’d need a new eye exam that would be out of pocket. Terrible experience, go somewhere else.

Got in and out super quick even though I was late they were patient and still seen me. Ordered my glasses for me and even let my daughter pick a pair because her eye doctor didn't have all the cool ones did here. Very good staff. 😊 …

Staff is always polite and willing to help in every way. Even working with me on payment sometimes and being understanding. Been coming here for 10+ years now and have zero complaints. Knowledgeable staff always willing to help. Looking forward to my next appointment.

My children have double coverage. When I explained that to the receptionist at check in she said they could only bill one insurance. I asked to speak to someone because they have always billed both insurances before with no problem. I got a bill but when I would go on line to pay it said I had a zero balance. Then I get a notice that they are putting me on collections! But again, when I got to pay the bill on line it says there is no balance. I called billing 3 times over 1 weeks before someone calls me back. Turns out they didn't bill the second insurance. No apology for threatening to put me in collections. Docs here are great, Opticians are great. But the admin and billing staff at horrible. Been going to Alaska Eye Center for several years but we will NOT be going back.

Like another review said, there are surprise bills. I told them during the appointment multiple times that I was ONLY there for eyeglasses. I brought my own contact lenses just in case. The doctor asked me to put the contact in my eye, then I got charged $80 just for him to tell me it fit right (I have been wearing this brand for years and already knew that). Everything else was covered for my insurance but I got a surprise bill in the mail. Be careful at the appointment because they are much pricier than other places and will charge you for absolutely anything said by the doctor.
