I had a fantastic experience with getting my son’s first pair of glasses. He’s only five years old and was nervous about getting glasses. The staff was very friendly and warm. Additionally Kay helped save me a bunch of money on his specialty lenses. I’m so grateful to have a place like this to get my son glasses at an affordable price.

The staff are lovely and helpful, and the prices are so much more affordable compared to a traditional eye appointment eye doctor at private clinic route. Plus a great selection of unique or very normal type glasses! Thanks so much for all of your help.

I had a wonderful experience getting my first eye exam done at this location. The employees were very helpful when it came to picking out my glasses. Cheaman sat down and explained my results and the entire process. I felt heard which was the most important thing. The only reason for the 4 star is because the store closed due to snow conditions on the day my appointment was originally scheduled and no notice was sent and no note was on the door. Overall- good experience. I am thankful.

Absolutely loved this place and the time and care they put in to their work and patients. Great customer service as well. Everyone is so sweet and helpful from checking in, to testing, to the super sweet doctors, and to trying on glasses. Everything was a breeze, thorough, and very affordable for self pay patients. 10/10 recommend!

I’m really glad I found Katmai, Dr Kompkoff is addressing my dry eyes. As a new patient we are starting with basic changes I can make but there are several other options I can move to if needed. She has a genuine caring and friendly energy. The staff is attentive and the facility is beautiful! The only con is they accept no insurance so they are not in-network and you have to submit claims yourself. But I feel I finally found an eye doc for my needs.

Wonderful experience with Dr Lentfer. I have never a more thorough exam as she takes the time to get it right. It is difficult to find professionals who solely have your interest at heart and she is one of the them. Dr. Sherry has taken great care of my family and we have recommended her to our friends. We feel fortunate to have found her.

Worst eye doctor I’ve ever been to! Be wary of this place and If you get a prescription from here and don’t feel like it is right, I highly advise getting a second opinion. My axis in my right eye was 177 on my last prescription 2 years ago (from a different eye doctor) and it’s always been around the 170’s my whole life. Well the prescription I got here had my right eye axis listed as 8 and my left eye 174. But I trusted the doctor and just ordered glasses that I have now wasted money on because I cannot see out of them correctly!!! How does an eye doctor mess up that badly on someone’s prescription!? It’s their one job! I was also given daily contacts to try on while in the office and 3 in a row literally broke off inside of my eye! Then the doctor looked around in my eye and said there were not any pieces left in there and my eye must just be irritated from putting in contacts so many times. But then later when I got home I pulled out a piece of contact that was still left in my eye!!! I am extremely freaked out by my experience here and I will never be going back!

I went to Precision Eye Care for an annual eye exam and for the additional benefit of specialized medical screening for diabetic eye care. Dr Yu was very attentive and answered/listened to all my questions. I highly recommend this office.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating, so much so that I called them at 2:40 on a Friday before I left town for a week to pick up my son’s glasses and they stayed open just so we could pick them up! They fitted my son’s glasses very comfortably. I highly recommend.

Dr. Grendahl is great. The office is chaotic and does not prioritize any sort of patient experience. Something pediatirc doctors office are usually pretty good at. My son has about 20 medical providers, this was our 5th doctor’s appointment this week - so no front desk lady - I don’t recall if I went online and submitted any forms ahead of time - and no, it’s not because I don’t use the internet. Appointment text said 2:10. (But doesn’t bother to make mention of filling out paperwork a head of time??) Actual appointment 2:15. No biggy, so wait in lobby. 20 minutes goes by before we are in the exam room…and doctor arrives 30 minutes later. Then when we dilate eyes, we get kicked out of the comfortable exam room (so gather up all the kidos stuff) and told to wait in the lobby for 30 minutes. (Cool, I can sit in the exam room bored for 30 minutes waiting on the doctor but can’t sit there for 30 minutes while eyes dilate.)This place is a hassle for sure. So glad my kid doesn’t have any major vision problems and we only have to do this once a year based on my child’s complex medical condition.

The doctor’s experience was great, but the 1-star review is for the service received at the front desk. My husband took my daughter in for an eye exam, referred to by our pediatrician. When they got to the office, the lady at the front desk did not acknowledge him. He asked her if he needed to complete a new patient form and was ignored. Another lady who was on the phone asked him if he had been help. Then after the appointment, he requested for an itemize receipt, so that we can submit it to insurance for reimbursement. We were only given a payment receipt (a receipt showing that our card was charged). What we wanted was an itemize receipt that shows the breakdown of the service. I called back and the same lady said that he didn't request for a "Super Bill" which shows the service provided that day. If he did, they would have provided one to him before he left. She made it seem like it was his fault, and he should have known. We do not work there to know what a "Super Bill" is. Even though the doctor was great, we will be going elsewhere in the future. Please consider hiring someone who wants to be there.
