Dr. Juan Ding’s professionalism and expertise is only outweighed by her innate compassion, consideration and thoughtfulness that she demonstrates in all our appointments. Her genuine professionalism, caring and smile are tangible each time we meet. As importantly, following each appointment she encourages a level of accessibly that allows her patients to be comfortable in contacting her at any time. She and the staff at the Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences, Umass Memorial Medical Center (technicians, administrators, secretaries and front desk personnel), make you feel like a family member. Having been a patient for the last couple years, I’ve been very impressed with the frequent investment in amazingly contemporary equipment to ensure the most accurate and precise diagnosis available. This capital investment in the facility and equipment is only surpassed by the continual investment in their staff. I hope anyone considering ophthalmology needs, takes a moment to read the biographies of the doctors and of the extremely proficient staff. I've been coming here since forever it's always been amazing. I've always had my glasses in 2-4 weeks, but whenever I try to call it's never open or never answers.

My 80 yr old mother has been waiting for her glasses for over a month. I call and there is never an answer. We go there at 10 am on a Tuesday and doors are locked but it says open online. Terrible place for an elder person to even get eyes checked.

The dr is extremely kind and gentle. She’s intelligent and very helpful. I’m always in and out within a half hour, highly recommend!

Great experience! Very friendly staff which made me feel really comfortable! Had a bad experience at another eye doctors which had made me nervous but they definitely but my nerves at ease! Also the receptionist is amazing and will answer all and a questions you have and is very accommodating when it comes to Booking your appointments! Will definitely recommend to friends and family!

I have called them back 3 separate times now only to be placed on hold each time well over 7 minutes. Understandable once maybe even twice but come on 3x. No thank you, you're office is obviously to busy for new patients.

This office awesome! Lu is amazing with helping me pick out new glasses and Yessi was an amazing tech. Samantha is cool too.
