Dr Leader is great, but the staff are limited in their proficiency and work ethics. Edit: After I posted this initially brief review, I noticed several reviews that all began in about around the time that I reported my complaints and concerns directly to Dr. Leader. This office has challenges with billing, insurance, communication and email messaging. Although I think Dr. Leader is fabulous and have known him for many years as a patient and professional colleague, I will not be returning.

This place has changed; its less about eye care & all about $$$. The black girl at the front desk is extremely rude & uncaring. I WON'T BE RETURNING You can get your eyes examined but you can't receive an eyeglass RX unless you pay $25. Health Care DISPARITY AT it lowest..👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽 …

The Doctors were great but the eye glass department is not so great. The lenses in my eye glasses continued to fall out. It was obvious that their was a defect in the design. So I wanted to return the defective pair and get another pair. The young lady did everything in her power to NOT give me another pair. She tried to make it seem like I was at fault dropping the eye glasses. I will never get my glasses their ever again.

I came into this establishment to bring a family member of mine. I do not recommend anyone come to this place for any optical reason. The staff is so rude and the way I heard one talk to an elderly person. What kind of zoo are they running here? I personally would not send my enemy over here. The eyeglass department should be investigated and new employees should be interviewed. I am very upset. I will be contacting the better business bureau and anyone else I can do have this place looked into. I felt pure evilness and looking at some of the reviews I’m obviously not the first but I will be the last!

I usually make an appointment to get an eye exam and purchase a yearly supply of contact lenses at Walmart. This year when I called, I was placed on hold for 15 minutes. While waiting, I found MyEyeDr. Online and easily booked a same day appointment. I will never go back to Walmart. The entire experience was easy and pleasant. My doctor, Dr. Dugan, was thorough and incredibly knowledgeable. She answered all of my questions and helped me to select the best lenses for my needs. Shikira checked me out after the appointment. She was very well versed in the bundling discounts and rebates that I qualified for. The entire experience was seamless and enjoyable! I would 10/10 recommend the New Orleans, St Charles, location.

Called to get information and absolutely useless and not helpful. Woman rep didn’t even attempt to help me with narrow down model I was looking for. All responses were all TF glasses are black. 7 out of 9 are square. Get I get a person that can assist and that wants to work.

I came to the uptown for my first eye exam, it was a great experience. Cornaie at the front desk explained my insurance benefits to me and even helped with my frame selection. Dr. Dugan was very thorough and knowledgeable. Ron explained the difference in lenses and what my insurance covers to help maximize my benefits. Overall the entire experience was great and I can’t wait to return next year!

Very pleasant people, both in reception and on the medical staff. I went in without an appointment, but was seen within an hour. Professional, clean, organized.

Excellent care by clerical and medical staff. My only complaint is the callback checking on care given. It always is late evening & very inconvenient!

Dr Connolly and staff are great. My cataract surgery was a success. Touro Hospital was a good place to have my surgery.

The eye doctor was amazing! Such a sweetheart. They covered my frames for me so I owed nothing with my insurance. I will definitely be returning for my yearly exam!!
