I am new to the neighborhood and needed a new Optometrist . They accommodated myself and my sister on the same day. I appreciated how I was greeted with a smile from the moment I checked in. The selection of frames were super cute and I can see really well out of my lenses. My experience was great. I will definitely be returning for a second pair.

They open their doors late so I don’t know why they schedule right after lunch hours. But I got my glasses in. Pretty look but they’re blurry I can’t see in them they give like a lopsided look such as walls or just about anything and I can’t see overall around me. Only near. I’ve been wearing contacts only and haven’t had a chance to try them and wear them till today so it’s prob too late to return so I can only write my experience. Put my contacts back in I can see perfectly clear. 360. Waste of time and really I just don’t see how it could’ve happen. Might be wrong prescription. .

Made an eye exam appointment weeks in advance to get a text two days before my appointment that it was cancelled for insurance reasons (that I still do not understand) I was lucky enough to catch the cancellation text but I think what would have been more professional was to also give a phone call and to go over the reasons as to why it had to be cancelled. I think for everyone, these kind of appointments are incredibly important and do require time to schedule into our own lives as well... to not get a phone call about it is really shocking. I had to call them on the day of my appointment to figure out what is going on- I spent my whole morning going on an illustrious and frustrating Odyssian journey from 8am-11am calling insurance companies for them to all tell me that my credentials are all updated and accurate and they do not see a 3rd party insurance attached to my name. upon my 3rd and final call to Primary Eye Care to better understand what it is that needed to be done- the lady on the phone was not kind or sympathetic- she was loud on the phone and just told me to come by and pick up a paper with the phone number of who I needed to contact- when I told her that the insurance company in question has been inactive since 2021 and could not do anything for me to get my name unattached to whatever system they use and that I guess I cannot use their eye care services she just said "exactly" it would be easier to just tell people you cannot take in new patients then create all this stress. I found another in network Optometrist and faced ZERO of these issues.

I forgot to order contact lenses for my trip to Louisiana for a big concert. I called around the area and came across Eyes on Canal. I forwarded my prescription to the team and Valencia was incredibly helpful!! She followed up with me to see if she had my prescription in stock and THEY DID. She was so kind enough to give me a pair for free. I organized an Uber driver to pick it up and drop it to my hotel. The task was SEAMLESS. Thank you to Valencia and the team at Eyes on Canal. This is such an AMAZING start to my first trip to Louisiana! I finally get to see the Queen Beyoncé in 20/20 vision!!

Tremendous. I broke my glasses and called Eyes on Canal and in less than two hours I had a new pair of glasses. The staff there is so nice and professional.

The entire staff were so nice and helpful. I called a few times to get information on my child and they did not get frustrated but were patient and helped me. Dr. Jackson was so nice and did such a thorough examination of my son. I wear glasses and have since a child and I do not remember ever having my eyes examined so thoroughly like she did my son. She made my son feel comfortable.

I was a little disappointed in my wait. I had scheduled my appointment at my previous visit and it was for 1 pm. I was there on time, signed in and waited for 50 minutes before going to the desk to see why I still hadn’t been checked in. I was told they didn’t have me down as having as appointment. It appeared that computer systems had been changed and my appointment hadn’t carried over. The lady took my insurance cards and added me to the list. I noticed she had marked off everyone on the sign in page with yellow marker except me. I would think she would have called me to say she couldn’t find an appointment for me and look into it instead of just skipping me. It wasn’t any better with checking out. 30 minutes standing in line waiting to check out due to computer problems. I understand things happen, but someone communicating with me in both situations would have helped. Needless to say, my visit time was over 3 hours.

Very caring and professional service. Office clean and bright, everyone has a smile and you are informed about your procedures and outcome and further care plans. Shout to my Dr, Dr Bolton who is very thorough, great bedside professional qualities easy to talk with , very calm and compassionate. I also have a chance to lean about different eye diseases and their treatment options provided on TV screen while waiting to be seen. Yes I do recommend this place to my family & friends. Thank you all.
