Unbelievable! Came in because of a sudden decrease in vision in my right eye a few weeks after an infection. My appointment was at 230. I was not actually seen by the doctor till 415. I was curious whether this was business as usual or whether something was off. When I asked whether he was having a tough day, he told me the "afternoon sludge" of patients slows him down. (Seems like the guy loves his job). Further, he told me that he couldn't really examine my eye that well because the fluorosene that the tech had put in over an hour prior to him walking in had dried up. When I tried to show him a picture of the infection on my phone, his response was "eww, that's gross, put it away!". (a UH doctor had the exact opposite response a few weeks later, by trying to zoom in on the picture and caring about it being part of the diagnostic process). Did not use any diagnostic equipment except for a slit lamp. He gave me a few sentences on blepharitis, and told me that baby shampoo could solve everything. And if it didn't, I could come back and sit there for another 2 hours and wait for him to actually try to diagnose an issue. Did not even get a baseline of how bad my vision was at the time. When I asked about trying, he said he could do that in 2 weeks. (Isn't that the whole point of a baseline?) I'm receiving much better diagnostic care and treatment at University Hospitals. Oh, and I got a bill for $140 to properly compensate the Cleveland Clinic for those highly disappointing 5 minutes of apathy from Dr Lane. Maybe they wasted my time on purpose so they can bill their "facility fee" by the hour?

My exam wound up being done by his assistant. She seemed rushed and never even spoke to me. It turned out to be a terrible prescription, and my vision is terrible with those lenses. I saw Dr. Lane for 5 minutes. I won't be back.

I'm excited I finally got my frames even got my frames one day early. Just one minor problem I got the wrong color frames, 😂 now luckily I love purple 💜 but I was actually supposed to have received those cranberry and crystal frames I featured. Those are the original frames I picked out not these purple frames I actually got. So I'll have to make another appointment later and purchase the cranberry and crystal frames because I really do still want those frames. It's just I've been without prescription glasses for too long to go without any longer because of a minor detail. If I couldn't see or they were ugly they'd be going back 🔙 😂. Thank goodness. I love them

Very unprofessional. I called ahead to make sure I could get my prescription and was told I need to come in. They gave me the times and when I went to the store, I was then told they weren’t able to give to me. Upon inquiring why I was told that they didn’t really know if it was a law or just a Walmart requirement but they were told not to give out the prescription by “the company”. Amazing how important people think they are. I wonder if there are any other companies that sell glasses…….

As I have stated in the past I am not a fan of this optical center but I do believe that recycling your gently used eye glasses 👓 is the right thing to do. There is a Lions club donations box in the front against the wall 🤓. …

I have been going here for a few years now for my eye exams and glasses. They have a good selection of frames, the prices are reasonable and the staff is helpful. I plan to get my next pair of glasses here also.

I have all three of my children go to Dr. Perla. For 11 years now. Siblings are absolutely welcome in the room. He will not see a child without an adult present and will not allow you to leave your child there while you run to your vehicle. He's not being mean. He is using common sense.

Today I took my daughter to doctor Perla for headaches and to check her eyes, he was actually quite rude to me as the parent! Not so much to her but I had to take my 2 year old with me that sat very well doctor Perla had told me siblings cannot come to appointments, on top of that my son had soiled his diaper hey it happens I was going to change him when I could leave my daughter for a second the diapers were in my car all doctor perla kept saying was how bad he smelled that I can change his diaper in the hall for someone that works wth kids he was rude I will never ever go to him again!!! And he came recommended not the way he was described. And not accommodating for people with kids that can't get sitters!!!!!
