I just had the pleasure of getting my exam with Dr. Chacha. Her staff was helpful, they took me same day. She was very patient and knowledgeable and if I didn't understand something she explained it. I really felt like she had my best interest at heart. Staff was down to earth and worked with me as far as finances go. Every where else I have been as far as optometrist, I felt like a part of an assembly line. I never felt that here at all. Once again wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

Rude people. My family member had an exam here last year. This year, due to their insurance being out of network, they were subjected to harsh verbal abuse for their limited English proficiency. When my family member requested the previous year’s prescription, the staff handed them an expired result, resulting in unexpected out-of-pocket expenses for another exam at a different facility. To all those considering this place, take heed: if you’re not fluent in English or unwilling to bear their exorbitant fees, brace yourself for an appalling encounter marked by rudeness, underhanded dealings, and unrelenting yelling. This is a warning to avoid such a distressing ordeal.

Dr. Chacha and the staff there at family eye Care center took real good care of me. I am not from the area but needed new glasses and after a very thorough and professional eye exam went back to my tried and true silhouette glasses and they carry them. Just pick them up and I really like them. But did I like family eye Care center? Absolutely we go back in a jiffy and would recommend to anyone in the area.

Best eye doctor around! Dr Douglas O’Connor is the best! I have been seeing him since I started wearing contacts. He is supper personable and really knows what he is doing.

Visited Dr. O’Connor for general yearly eye exam and really liked the way he explains things. He makes you feel comfortable and hear your issues patiently. I am going to have all my yearly checkups here.

Dr. Goldstein's accurate diagnosis & treatment plan of a rare eye condition saved me from what would have otherwise been an unnecessary eye surgery + months of recovery. He is supremely knowledgeable, methodical, and thorough. He is also very personable and easy to talk to. I am extremely grateful for Dr. Goldstein. Additionally, the nurses, assistants, and office staff were all courteous and helpful. Thank you, Dr. Goldstein and the entire team! --S.Y.

Thank God I had Dr. Goldstein!! He knew just what to do and after three years of suffering, my eye is fixed and healed!! I am eternally grateful. Also, the staff are all warm and welcoming, the office is clean, calming and cheerful. I couldn't say more about him...other than he's kinda my hero. Very challenging practice to interact with as a patient, all phone calls go into long hold times of over 20 minutes or longer, most times with no one ever answering, forcing you into leaving messages. When being fitted for contacts, the ophthalmologist never recommended better versions of my current contacts that had better oxygen exchange profiles until I asked multiple times Lastly when I left the office my contact lens script was never updated with the new contact lenses (Oasys, that I had just been fitted for) so every time my third party tried to get the script to fulfill my order, tricounty gave them the script with the old contact lens brand . Also the contact lens manager in New Britain seemed irritated and short of patience. There are good people in the practice, instead of trying to save money the practice owners should invest in more call center support as a first step
