Cordial and efficient administrators, unusually warm, Dr Robinson is prompt, caring and lucid

A dream come true. After having poor sight all my life, I then developed a cataract which made me essentially "night blind" in my right eye. I now can see with nearly perfect vision without the aid of glasses or "readers" or a contact in the other eye. The procedure and recovery was easy.

This was an absolutely great experience! We were greeted with friendly smiles and made to feel comfortable immediately. The Doctor is fantastic! I was given a thorough eye exam. And the glasses I purchased are perfect. Also..the techs are A+++!!! Thank You!!

My apologies on taking since March to thank Ariel and his team at Wheels of Vision for the thoughtfulness, care and urgency to get my glasses ready in the shortest time possible. I had my new glasses in one week. It was the best and fastest service and till today I have not experienced any issues with fit or quality of my new glasses. I put them on first thing in the morning and literally forget I have them on I will definitely highly recommend Ariel and his team. Thank you Ariel

Dr. Gelb is Finest optometrist I have seen. He does a thorough eye examination, and spends enough time with the patients explaining everything to them. My whole family does eye exams with Dr Gelb, and I like the way he handles each one perfectly. His office has state of the art equipment and he is very up-to-date in his knowledge. Being a physician myself I know what he does and feel very confident with his decisions. I highly recommend Dr Gelb.

Very efficient eye doctor. Listens to your situation and adjusts you lens or prescription accordingly, until it's comfortable; unlike other clinic who are like robots and works by the book only. He recommends a retina doctor when necessary. He's been my eye doctor for 10 years, could be trusted. His rate is reasonable too. I tried a different doctor before because of my change of insurance. The doctor I went to (Dr Robert Love) did unnecessary tests just to bill the insurance, even my medical insurance. And his staff words are 'to make the most of your insurance', they try to sell contacts more expensive than normal. All that clinic wanted to do was to make more money! I went back to Dr Sheplan, even if I have to pay cash and reimbursed by my insurance.

Zero stars. I'm here at 1:58 for my 2pm eye exam appt. The lady takes a gentleman ahead of me for his 2:15 appt without any explanation. Thanks for wasting my time and gas. I drove half an hour to go to this store because they had an open appt today. Very, very unprofessional. Will not go to ANY Visionworks ever again.

The medical technicians were professional and did a good job. My concerns are with the clinic’s overall environment and management. I waited over 1.5 hours past my scheduled appointment time. At my usual Sutter Health clinic, waits are typically under 10 minutes, so this was a significant and frustrating difference. When I asked about timing for surgery, I was told the wait could be even longer than what I experienced that day. If patient volume is known in advance, appointments should be scheduled more realistically to minimize excessive delays. The waiting room was very crowded, which made the experience feel disorganized and impersonal. Had I known this would be the level of service, I would not have chosen this clinic for my cataract surgery. I expected a higher standard from Stanford Health Care, especially compared to my experiences elsewhere. Long wait times also impact the quality of care. When providers are running behind, visits can feel rushed, which affects the doctor-patient interaction. I don’t place blame on the medical staff, as this appears to be a scheduling and management issue. I certainly hope that this situation can be improved. I will never choose Stanford Health Care again. I only hope I will have a good surgery.

Outstanding care! Everyone is so nice and welcoming! Very comforting! Dr. Benevento is awesome! He had to laser a retinal tear. He explained what to expect, what he would do and why. Reviews of him were impressive! Great doctor!

Way overpriced and the glasses took over 3 months to get. On top of that they are of very poor quality. Magnetic sunglasses that I paid extra for won't stay on the frames. Hinge has bent and screw comes out all the time. Do not recommend. I get better glasses online that cost 1/10th the price!!
