I WAS a patient once upon a time...... With covid affecting everyone's personal and business life I understood the guidelines in all fairness. But what I didn't agree with was how they were not letting their patient's (parent's) attend appointments with their children. Not all of us have the luxury of having someone watch their kid's. I asked if they would make an exception, considering they removed the mandate of mask coverings and cases were at the lowest or none. Wouldn't u think I'd be the one to worry about if I was in direct Contact with the optometrist? That honestly left a bad taste in my mouth..... let alone, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and called to schedule an appointment without having my kid's with me, left a message...... ask me if they have called me? We're going on 2 weeks. Would anyone agree not to recommend this place? If they're parent's themselves..... I hope they understand how one feels being deprived of service bc they have children who can't accompany them.

I love bringing my kids in as well as recommending this practice to friends and family. All of the doctor's are very attentive to our needs and resolve underlying issues that I did not even know could be resolved with just a simple visit to the eye doctor. They are a practice that cares about our well being and will also recommend products for a specific need/issue. When you come here you can tell the doctor's really enjoy what they are doing and not just here for a paycheck. They are also VERY patient! I was so surprised when I brought my boys in how patient they(I say "they" because my boys have seen all three doctors) were with them. They also notified me of some things internally I had going on with my eyes as well. When there is am issue they monitor and stay on top of it. Even offered to refer me out if things get a bit out of hand. The staff is also amazing!!! During the pretest process they were very informative and talked me through everything. Then after the exam they helped me pick out frames for my little ones as well as myself that fit perfectly, went over all my options and let me know when something couldn't be done or seemed a bit unrealistic. SOOOOO long story short... I highly recommend this practice!!

Be careful - I went in for a contact lens fitting. doctors are friendly and thorough, but probably not necessary for the average patient. Keep in mind this is a private practice so they make money based on how many procedures/tests they talk you into. The doctor insisted I get a couple of obscure tests for my eyes that I had never heard of after seeing eye doctors for about 10 years. In the middle of one of the tests, the doctor used my email and information to sign up for some beauty service that sells extra pricy "harmful chemical free" products - $25 dollars for a bar of soap. Hmm ok weird, I thought but I kept on with the test and didnt think much of it. My next visit I came back and surprise, there were no issues with the tests, but the doctor noted that there was some potential signs of future disease in my eyes based on the scans. Conveniently, they also sell expensive supplements created by Doctor Golie in the store, and they are presented to the patient as a necessary treatment for these tests. I politely declined the buy the vitamins they offered ($150 a bottle) and just asked for the prescription for my contacts and said I would not be purchasing them through the facility. Crazy enough after I left they left me several voicemails insisting that I forgot and needed the vitamins. I feel sorry for the non practice owners who work under Dr. Golie as they seem very nice an knowledgeable, but its evident that she pushes them to sell her supplements to the patients. While its her practice, I think theres a conflict of interest between selling vitamins and providing honest care for a patient, and left a very funny taste in my mouth, would not recommend.
