Dr. Bradley Bowman joined Cornea Associates of Texas in 1994 and over the past 28 years has gained a national reputation as a highly skilled surgeon and a caring physician who provides his patients with the highest quality eye care. He specializes in a full range of ophthalmic procedures including refractive cataract surgery, laser vision correction, and adult and pediatric corneal transplant surgery. 

A graduate of Baylor University and the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, Dr. Bowman has received his ophthalmic training at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida ranked by U.S. News and World Report as the best eye hospital and residency program in the United States. He was awarded a Heed Fellowship in Cornea and External Disease at the Emory Eye Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

Deeply involved in the ophthalmologic community, Dr. Bowman serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School Department of Ophthalmology. He has published many articles, authored book chapters, and lectured extensively on various aspects of corneal disease and refractive surgery. He has been recognized by "Best Doctors in America", "D Magazine Best Eye Doctors in Dallas", "Top Doctors in Fort Worth Magazine" and most recently was honored for two consecutive years by Newsweek Magazine as one of the "200 Best Ophthalmologists in the United States". He has served as a team physician for both the Texas Rangers and the Dallas Stars professional sports teams and serves as an examiner for the American Board of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Bowman has a passion for Christian ministry and is an active member of Park Cities Baptist Church. For the past 20 years, he has served as a board member and visiting surgeon for the Lighthouse for Christ Eye Center and Mission in Mombasa, Kenya. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife Angela and his growing family; Kate and Andrew Bowman, Caroline and Chris Lutzel, John Bradley Bowman, and last but not least, his first grandchild, Padgitt Bradley Bowman.
