Eye Doctor Michael V. Boland
Dr. Boland is a member of the Glaucoma Service at Mass Eye and Ear and the Site Director at Mass Eye and Ear, Lexington. He has completed sub-specialty training in the medical and surgical management of glaucoma and is available for consultations for both glaucoma and cataracts.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Boland serves as Medical Director of Practice Innovation for Ophthalmology where he provides expert guidance on technology-based innovations that improve the quality of patient care and increase practice efficiency and safety. He has held national leadership positions related to information systems in ophthalmology and is uniquely qualified to embrace new innovations and accelerate the use of technology, including telemedicine.
