I was very apprehensive when my wife suggested that we go to Walmart to get an eye exams. The eye roll followed an intentional shoulder shrug as she insisted that the decision was final. My motto in marriage is to pick battle big enough to matter and small enough to win. This was not worth a fight so I gave in. The staff was very welcoming and professional. We were seated six feet apart in the waiting area and given a questionnaire to fill out. I were ushered into a small room where Dr Diana Espaillat’s assistant did the first exam. The room was very clean and the equipment state of the art. I was then taken to Dr Diana’s office and she was welcoming and smiling. I could tell she was smiling by her tone even if she was wearing a mask. It calmed me down immediately and she engaged me in conversation. This experience was foreign in compassion to the other optometrist I have visited over the years. A welcomed change. She explain everything that was going on with my eyes and took some images of the eye with modern state of the art equipment and took the time to explain everything that was going on. A very detail exam. I am still impressed. My wife had the same experience and didn’t realize that she desperately needed glasses as she is near sighted. This experience have changed her life. I won’t go anywhere else and have referred my friends and family here. My is happier since she can now see every detail on our daily walks and have a newfound appreciated for her vision. Thank you Dr Diana.

Dr. Espaillat is a wonderful and very friendly doctor. I was so impressed that she knew of my rare medical conditions; most doctors don’t. She took her time to ensure the proper prescriptions and noticed immediately when my trial contacts were not sitting well. She was thorough, knowledgeable and humble. Such a welcome change after my previous exam. Thank you Dr. Espaillat! You are a gem. So glad that you are servicing our community.

I have a BAD astigmatism prescription. I always thought that I would just have to deal with whatever contacts my previous doctor gave me. I went to Diana on a WHIM and it's the greatest thing I've ever done for my eyes. She had me come back twice to dial in the correct lenses for me and got them BANG ON! I can finally see. For the first time in my life I can see without having to adjust my eyes or contacts and they're so comfortable. Shes courteous, friendly and has a great sense of humor. I refer her to everyone now. Thanks Dr.Espaillat :D

Dr. Racanati is so thoughtful and thorough. I recommended him to my entire family. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my eyes!

I have been seeing Dr. Racanati for several years. He takes time with you explaining what he is doing and why. He also takes time to just talk to you and gets to know you. His staff is pleasant.

Dr. Racanati is one of the best doctors I have been to. My spoken English is not very good, but he always encourages me to ask questions and listens to them patiently. He explains all the procedures very clearly, and answers all my questions. He is a very nice doctor. The staff is very efficient and polite.

As part of the medical profession and understanding the standards of care, Dr Fernandez Nieves and her STAFF exceeded my expectations. Amazing!!! Extremely knowledgeable professional and truly caring. I never write reviews but I though this practice deserved it!!

Dr. Fernandez and her staff are so welcoming and kind. The doctor really seems knowledgeable and took her time to make sure she was thorough in helping me in a way that I've never experienced from other doctors.
