We recently moved here from out of state and I needed a new ophthalmologist. My husband recently had cataract surgery by Dr.Florkowski. I was so impressed with his skill that I booked my own initial consult appointment. The practice is efficient, friendly and professional from the moment you walk through the door. It was easy to find an appointment time to fit my schedule. The intake eye exam was completed by the staff as they prepared me and my chart for my time with Dr. Florkowski. His exam was the most thorough I've had and he answered every question I had. He was clear in explanations. I'm glad to entrust my eye care to this practice.

Just had cataracts removed from both eyes! Could not be more pleased! Dr. Florkowski is great! Wish I could leave a 10 star rating. Every day is better and better, clearer and as the name says "Sharper Vision"! If you have issues with cataracts, this is the place to go. I highly recommend!

The staff at this location are helpful and always kind. And their selection of glasses is amazing- everything from Coach to Oakley and the team there will make sure you look great and they fit your face. Highly recommend!

Denise was beyond helpful in helping me pick out my first pair of prescription sunglasses! This was my first experience in shopping for eyeware at Target and it was so smooth. Great selection, competitive prices and AMAZING customer service! She helped me with figuring out my progressives and was very patient with me. Our family has found a new place to purchase our eyeware!

Bob and I are thankful for Highpoint Family Vision. As you enter the doors you are welcomed by friendly receptionists. They work with you concerning your insurance needs. The office offers a variety of the most updated glasses. It’s good to have a one stop experience; vision tests and frames. The husband, wife doctor duo are a great team. Both are knowledgeable, kind and provide excellent care. They answered our questions and all our concerns. We would definitely recommend Highpoint to family and friends for all their vision needs. 2 JOYful customers!

I had my first appt. and it was great! I am a new patient who had my first exam, and I will definitely be a returning one! Friendly staff the moment you walk in and my doctor actually explained things to me as he wad going through the tests - so very helpful so I could understand!

This is the best eye care business in Shawnee bar none.Dr. Kinsey is the best. She genuinely cares about her patients. She answers all your questions and spends time explaining your own situation. I won’t go anywhere else.

One of my favorite very nice glasses was malformed from being placed on a frame stand. Took the glasses somewhere that was not able to fix them and so they sat for a year. I found Shawnee Optix based on customer reviews. The customer service was absolutely wonderful! My glasses were fixed in like 5 minutes. While waiting, I couldn't help but notice the large selection of glasses they offer. I mean who knew Bobbie Brown had a line of glasses (maybe I'm late to the party). Trust you will not be disappointed with the service, care, price, or knowledge this gentleman gives.

I had been dealing with ear pain from a bad adjustment for a couple years, but the pain became too much to tolerate while I was in the middle of moving in August. They were literally wearing a hole in my ear... Where I got the glasses required an appointment. The other shop I tried (near the purchase location) was dismissive and made the problem worse. :( I called Jon at Shawnee Optix and described the problem. I was at the end of my rope. He said he thought he could help and to stop by the same day. Within 15 minutes or less, my issue was resolved (although it did take about a week to determine that). He leveled my frames back out, put new nosepads on made from a different material, and truly had a sense of how to properly adjust glasses to get the weight off my ear. The man has skills. I have worn glasses since I was a kid and I wish, somehow, he'd been able to do all my adjustments! I no longer live in the area, but if you need a poor adjustment fixed then I would highly recommend stopping by. Jon didn't even charge me; he simply asked that I leave a review. The fact that someone actually cared that I was in pain AND also need to wear these to function meant a lot me. Thank you! :)

Service was very helpful today. I broke my glasses and it was an easy fix. Wasn’t even in the store 5 minutes. I love the service here, very patient and friendly.
