We called at the last minute on a Saturday as my daughter was having issues with her eyes at work. They were able to fit us in as an emergent appointment. Everyone was so kind and helpful, and didn't make us feel like we were an inconvenience to their schedule. The doctor was thorough, listened, and answered all of our questions. We couldn't be happier. Thank you so much!

Unfortunately, we did not have such a good experience. The office itself is a converted old house and was hard for my daughter to navigate the steps. However, I did see a wheelchair ramp outside. When I originally called to make the appt, I thought I had the right referral, but apparently i needed one with the drs name on it. While trying to figure it out, the dr himself grabbed the phone out of the office workers hand & spoke to me as if he were scolding his kid. I should have stopped right there...but at the time my daughter really needed a specialist... and with medicaid, you have to take whatever you can get most times. The drs bedside manor is awful, as is the way he treats his staff. He scolded the guy behind the desk a couple times. If that were me I'd quit. He acts like everything is a huge bother to him. He's very rough. Without a word, he rushed my daughter in who (wears leg braces & hearing aids) & plopped her down in the exam chair like it was the back of a squad car, & IMMEDIATELY starts shoving eye drops into her eyes without warning or saying what they were, and they were stinnging her eyes. He immediately starts trying to force her eyes open to look in with his scope. He finally asks what's the problem with her since he clearly didn't see anything, to which I replied there are what appears to be dried out/rough patches on the whites of her eyeballs, in the outside corners. This seemed confusing to him so I physically pointed it out...he then started mumbling... something about it "probably" being a harmless cyst that may or may not need to be drained... (like a kid who was mad about being proved wrong) Uuuggh.. she doesn't have any "cysts" in her eyes & he's certainly not going near her with a syringe! This doctor rushed around from patient to patient to patient, back & forth into the front office to scold the very nice gentleman answering phones... didn't wear gloves, & not once washed or disinfected his hands. Trust me, I was watching him. 6 My daughter said he hands smelled like he was .... well I'll just end it here so you don't puke. My father probably would have thought him to be a great old style dr. So if you're a geriatric retired truck driver.. this doc is for you.

I hand been seeing Dr. Peavy for at least 25 years, and he is wonderful and very kind. I fitted my daughter with contacts and even talked to us in the middle of the night when she thought the contact lens was stuck in her eye (It wasn’t!) He then did the surgery on her to permanently correct her nearsightedness and my cataract surgery. He is just a wonderful doctor.

I am very impressed and satisfied with the quality and thoroughness of care at Atlantic Eye Institute. I forgot to ask that a form required by The DMV be filled out; I’ll be mailing that to you with a return address envelope and calling about it. I’m surprised I wasn’t asked if I needed one based on my age! Thank you so much.

I have to admit that the reviews scared me and I considered cancelling my mother's appointment. But, something lead me to NOT cancel. I was very pleased with their service, but especially touched by the kind heartedness we experienced at every turn of Mom's appointment. I decided to be seen as a " walk in" as it had been years since my last exam. I was cared for by a few diffferent employees as well as a few of the same employees as my mother had and have to say that I too was also shown the same friendly kind heartedness. I will try and update my review later to let other's know how long it took to get our prescription glasses as I read reviews on that part not going so well. We were given a time frame of 3 weeks but also told that it could run a bit longer. Thank you Vision Center of Victor Valley for the warm welcome when we arrived, for the great care throughout our visit, and for the departing friendliness.

Went in to see if they could assist me with repairing my glasses and Julie did an excellent job!! Thank you ...Thank you..So appreciative of her!!!

Like another review said, there are surprise bills. I told them during the appointment multiple times that I was ONLY there for eyeglasses. I brought my own contact lenses just in case. The doctor asked me to put the contact in my eye, then I got charged $80 just for him to tell me it fit right (I have been wearing this brand for years and already knew that). Everything else was covered for my insurance but I got a surprise bill in the mail. Be careful at the appointment because they are much pricier than other places and will charge you for absolutely anything said by the doctor.

I’ve been coming to their Jenkintown and now Norristown offices for probably close to 50 years. Am completely confident in Dr. Pizzano and the office staff/aides, particularly Carole. Won’t go elsewhere.

Dr. Chua was exceptionally thorough and attentive, taking the time to walk me through each step of the exam and clearly explain the results in a way that was easy to understand. What stood out most was the genuine care and patience shown in addressing all of my questions, along with thoughtful, personalized recommendations for maintaining my eye health. The visit struck the perfect balance—efficient without ever feeling rushed. I left feeling reassured, well-informed, and confident in my care. I highly recommend Dr. Chua to anyone seeking a skilled, knowledgeable, and compassionate eye doctor in chino hills area.
