I had the most amazing, very professional, personalized five star LASIK experience at Johns Creek location with Doctor Ashraf , who explained to me every step of my procedure and what to expect, making me feel at ease , though I was very nervous at the beginning. The entire staff were so lovely and nice. Thank you guys a lot too! Procedure itself takes very short time and absolutely painless! I am happy to recommend Doctor Ashraf and his team to entice considering LASIK . I was able to read with no glasses the next day and drive the day after. Again , thank you all at The Atlanta Vision Institute!

If I could, I would give them a ZERO. This would be a prime example of why healthcare has come down to it's grinding lows where receiving a decent treatment is more of a luxury than providing ease to your ailment :(
The business model at this institute only talks wildly about monetary greed that aims to milk every penny off your pockets while filling your mind with false assurances. When I showed up for initial consult, I was very pleased to meet with Dr Ashraf and got the confidence that he would be an excellent person to work with. He very calmly helped me understand the overall procedure and determined I was a good candidate for LASIK as well as SMILE. Things started going downhill as I started working with their sales team and got a quote close to high $4k range and was told they have best pricing with nationwide price match guarantee. I was determined to get rid of my glasses and started doing my due diligence to see if I could find better pricing only to know that a renowned surgeon with 120k+ procedures in neighboring state offered the exact same procedure (blade-less LASIK) for more than half the price and when I contacted Atlanta Vision Institute they went numb and would not return my calls any more. With constant follow-ups I finally got in touch with Cecil who initially promised me of nationwide price match only to let me know that they cannot honor price match as her manager (Ms. Taylor) would not allow out of state price matches any more but they were open to negotiations and would bring down the price to $3k.
Soon after Ms. Taylor calls me to cover up what just transpired of my last communication explaining there was miscommunication and starts haggling with even newer set of rules. As stressful as it sounds, I have been very disappointed with the overall experience with their sales team and would say dealing with them was no different than buying car off a dealership involving lots of back & forth, haggling and blaming misdoings on miscommunication etc. but it is awful and equally shameful that patients have to go through these money looting tactics for simplest of treatments in this day and age :(
Do you due diligence before reaching out here and don’t be surprised if they changed their finicky rules on you.

Dr. Ashraf and his staff (I interacted with various persons individually and can say something positive about each of them) are highly skilled and easy to work with. Starting even with calls to the front desk for scheduling, my experiences were pleasant and efficient.
This is one of the rare places to have SMILE done and Dr. Ashraf is respected in the field. It’s worth researching if you’re eligible and I went with it because the current research suggests it’s less invasive than lasik, has an easier recovery, and and fewer short term restrictions on things like swimming and contact sports. It’s also rare that Dr. Ashraf speaks with patients personally to answer questions and manage expectations early on, and he also directly does all surgeries.
I can’t comment on price or value relative to other places, because that honestly wasn’t part of my process. It was only about finding the best available surgeon and facility—felt more prudent to focus on saving money on things besides my eyeballs.
My eyesight is better now. Not perfect, not amazing, but good enough for me to do things like drive, hike, watch a movie comfortably without glasses. To me, this was the worth the risk and the cost.
This is still less than 24 hours from my procedure, so there there may be updates in the case of unexpected adverse effects or reversion, but so far all is well. I’d recommend SMILE to a friend and would go so far as to recommend friends traveling to this specific team from other states for their work.

Service reps, assistants and Dr were all the best. Super friendly and helpful. The best eye visit experience I’d ever had. Been over 6 years since my last exam due to my last experience

I enjoyed my experience. The staff was very nice and Dr. Patel was very thorough and answered all my questions before I could even get them out. He’s great. The exam was quick and precise. I left feeling confident about my eyes and my prescription.

Among the top 2 experiences I've had regarding glasses and eye care across 3 states! From friendly sweet staff like Dana to miracle workers like Brad—whom was able to customize transition lenses into my own frames that I've bought elsewhere. The whole experience dealing with this business feels so personalized and always improves my quality of life😍🥰🤩.
💵Years ago with good insurance, I was able to buy transition lenses here for about $300 and they are still my favorite outdoor glasses.😎

Another great exam. I’ve seen all their doctors and they so personable and patient. Best practice ever. The star of the show is always Josue. He makes sure my glasses compliment me and are always saying something in the best way. They have the best frames and warranties. People always compliment my frames. Your eyes deserve Briggs Vision!

5 stars all around for the doctors and staff of Briggs Vision Group. I've been a patient for decades and am so grateful for the care and service that I receive from everyone at Briggs. The doctors are patient, courteous, and thorough during eye exams. I never feel they are rushing to get to the next patient. And everyone - from those in the glasses department to the front desk staff - has the same friendly and helpful demeanor. If there's ever an urgent matter, they've been able to work me into the schedule or at least provide feedback over the phone. Thank you Briggs Vision Group for appreciating and respecting me as a patient!
