I’ve been a patient of his for 14 years (before he retired). He is very intelligent and knows what he’s doing. I had three eye surgeries done. These surgeries were cut to protect my eyes since I was only 5-6 years old; it was supposed to be one whole thing. He improved my vision immensely and it’s sad that he retired. I think he deserves better reviews. He is kind and hard working.

I can't believe the negative reviews. HE FIXED MY CROSSED EYES VIA SURGERY IN 1976. He is an extremely compassionate and gentle person. He became a friend of my dads. I came on here to see how he was doing. I'd be cross eyed if it weren't for him.

I don’t understand why every time I make an appointment there is more than one hour wait!!! Sitting in the waiting room now and it makes no sense! I am in the waiting room with another person scheduled at the same time and also waiting! No respect for the patients time!!

I have been going to this office for years and always saw Dr. Zeegan until Covid. I now see Dr. Kramar and he has been very good and thorough. He found a scratch in my left eye during a routine eye exam that he treated with special drops and I have had no problems since. If I have an emergency I can get in to see him right away.

On Mother's day I had an injury to my left eye that necessitated a visit to West Hills hospital with excruciating pain after seeing me they gave me pain meds and antibiotics that did not do the trick I call Dr Kramar he was paged and offered to see me in the office within a short time he checked the eye placed a lens in the eye to relieve the pain and we both were able to celebrate Mother's day, Dr. Kramer deserves 6 stars. What a great Doctor I highly recommend him plus he is a fantastic surgeon. ******

(8/17/2023): Dr. Kandavel is a top-notch ophthalmologist. I have used him for over 30 years, with excellent results. I am always impressed by his thoroughness, clear explanations of what he found, and my treatment options. Knowledge and clarity. It doesn’t get any better than that. Highly recommended.

Dr. Kandavel has been my ophthalmologist for over a decade and I would trust no one else with the treatment of my eyes. His staff and team are top notch, always a pleasure to visit.

Dr Kandavel is a thorough professional. He’s also personable, kind, has considerable patience, is a good listener and a very compassionate person. He’s a doctor at the highest level. A true stellar example of what a great doctor can,and should be!!!

The nurse began a typical eye test and was nice. However, it all went downhill with the doctor. Kyle Huynh does not care about you or what you're going through. This doctor was awkward to discuss my issues with and flippant about it. He then began to put an eye drop without warning me nor telling me what it is or what it does. Then pressed and applied pressure to the problem area. If that wasn't bad enough, he then took a Q tip and peeled my eyelid back and applied additional pressure, though at least for this part he did warn me that this part would hurt. I looked it up and there is eye numbing drops he could have used but he said there wasn't. As I was agonizing in pain, he read me off what I needed to take and then walked off. I couldn't think clearly nor ask the questions I wanted to afterward. The follow up nurse explained it to me in further detail but I was in terrible pain from what he did for the next few days PLUS my eye looked even worse than it did before for months. I did a follow up visit with another doctor and went a lot better. Please, go see another doctor and avoid this one as he made my eye much worse than it was before and had to spend hundreds of dollars from poor quality

Had a screw that needed to be replaced in my eyeglasses. Laura was super helpful and got it fixed for me in no time at all. Great service, will definitely be back!

Great Staff and great service, I been a client of this amazing place for more than 9 years, I discovered them because of Spect4us brand, they are been amazing so far, but they helping me out with my glasses, even do we are in this emergency times, thank you so much for care that much for your customers.
