Prior to lasik, I wore glasses for 17 years. I just couldn't take it anymore so upon a friend's recommendation, I contacted Excel and had a consultation. They walked me through the steps of what would happen during the surgery and answered any questions I had. Normally I am an anxious person but felt fine the day of the surgery and it took a total of 5 minutes to complete and then I could see. So thankful for Excel and the wonderful work they did!!

I had a LASIK procedure done at Excel Laser Vision Institute a few years ago, and it has left me with permanent vision loss in my right eye and a condition called Keratoconus. Keratoconus is an eye condition in which the cornea becomes thinner and gradually bulges out into a cone shape. What makes matters worse is that the doctor who performed the LASIK procedure, Dr. Ferzaad Moosa, failed to warn me that my cornea was too thin to safely perform the procedure. As a result, I now suffer from daily eye pain, migraines, and permanent vision loss in my right eye. I went back to Excel Laser Vision Institute to share my concerns, but they were unhelpful and dismissive. They failed to take responsibility for the complications that arose from the LASIK procedure and did not provide me with any support or assistance. This has been an extremely difficult experience for me to endure, and it has impacted my quality of life in a significant way. I now have to live with the consequences of a procedure that was performed without proper warning or consideration for my safety. I would strongly caution against choosing Excel Laser Vision Institute for any vision correction procedures, especially with Dr. Ferzaad Moosa. They do not prioritize patient safety or take responsibility for the complications that arise from their procedures. If you're considering a LASIK procedure, I urge you to do your research thoroughly and choose a reputable clinic that values patient safety and is transparent about the risks and potential complications of the procedure.

I had undergone the LASIK procedure in October 2022 and ever since my eyesight has been worse. I can’t get any prescription glasses to fit me like before and I’m left with blurred and double Vision that can’t be corrected by glasses now. I’ve been many experts including a corneal surgeon. It has been a nightmare. I can’t even go down stairs without holding the rails and I’m in my 20s still. Worst decision of my life. The staff has been professional and doctor Moosa always returned my calls and remain excellent and caring doctor. But unfortunately my life quality and my vision aren’t good. And I regret this procedure deeply.

Dr. Baskin was extremely friendly and engaging, didn’t carry that arrogance a lot of doctors seem to have. Have nothing but positive things to say.

Dr. Baskin was caring, kind, thorough and conscientious. He listened carefully and explained everything clearly. He responded quickly to a question I had the next day and made sure I had received his message. Very knowledgeable and a great guy!

I had my lasik eye surgery last week by Dr. Rezapour with excellent results. It was the best decision I could have made and I wish I had done it sooner. Dr. Rezapour is incredibly kind, patient, And gave a good explanation of the procedure. During and after the procedure I didn’t feel any pain and it was very quick. The recovery was very short as well, the next day I had clear vision even though I was warned it may take a week or two to fully recover. I now have better vision than 20/20! Thank you Dr. Rezapour you are a rockstar. I would highly recommend to this doctor anyone and everyone

For the lack of a better choice I had to choose 1 star. We visited Dr. RezaPour few years ago and everything was ok for an eye check up, As trying to schedule a return check up visit had the worst experience with his scheduling desk because she lacked the technical knowledge As trying to explain to her how to enter insurance information, which is by the way her job, she suggested I find another Doctor who is more knowledgeable with insurance information I have the best PPO insurance out there So it definitely was not any issues on my side There are so many Doctors in this city and fortunately we have choices and probably even better choices I am writing this for doctors to know how to hire their help who actually throw their business out because of their own selfishness.

Dr. Rezapour is hands down the BEST ophthalmologist I’ve ever been to. He is so passionate and experienced in what he does, which makes him that much better. He is very thorough and detailed and is one of the few doctors that actually takes the time to completely examine his patients and go over everything with them to make sure they have the best experience possible. Overall, very caring and detail-oriented. His office staff are wonderful; couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend!

Scheduled appointment with Dr. Engstrom two weeks in advance. Came in and was told that Dr. Engstrom is too busy to take you, but we have Dr. Lazar instead. Very unprofessional.
