Dr. Cronin is extraordinary! I have been bringing my daughter (12) to the Eye Care group since she was 18 month old. Originally she saw Dr Levada, who was also impressive! When their clientele grew we were handed off to Dr. Cronin and I couldn’t be happier! She has always been attentive to us during our 2+hr visits, due to dilation. Last year my girl needed glasses and this year seemed to be a routine follow up due to a benign eye condition noticed when she was a toddler. She outgrew that condition but Dr. Cronin recommended she has an additional test based upon her toddler scans showing an inflamed optic nerve. The baseline test performed today seemed to still show some concern AND DR CRONIN TOOK THE TIME TO CALL ME AT 7PM FRIDAY NIGHT TO SCHEDULE A FOLLOW UP - WOW!! I’m hopeful it is nothing serious. But I have yet had a doctor call me and schedule the follow up the evening following a physician visit! I implicitly trust Dr. Cronin and find her demeanor and intellect very impressive! If you are looking for a pediatric ophthalmologist, I would highly recommend Dr. Tara Cronin!!!

Dr Cronin is not only extremely knowledgeable but she is also the most patient, understanding and caring person. She spends time with her patients and explains everything so thoroughly, repeating things if needed as many times as needed with the ultimate in patience. She is very courteous, friendly and really knows her speciality.

Dr. Meskin is amazing! He was the last of 4 doctors that I seen. After 6 weeks of blurred vision, dried out, painful red eyes, I was lucky enough to get an emergency appt with Dr. Meskin from my ophthalmologist the next day. Thank you to the 2 other practices that couldn’t fit me in for months. Dr. Meskin had my vision back in 2 days! Yes the inflammation has a long couple moths to be gone but I can see! Thank you so much! If you’re looking for a great doctor who is not only pleasant, listens and is knowledgeable make sure you see Dr. Meskin!

Dr. Meskin did cataract surgery on both of my Moms eyes earlier this year, with great success. He went over the procedures with my Mom and I with such patience and ready to answer any questions we might of had. His is personable, professional, and just an amazing Doctor. I would give a 100 stars if they were available. Dr. Meskin has the best bedside manner we have ever seen. I recommend him to anyone that I know needs eye surgery. Simply the best!

I had cataract surgery in both eyes by Dr Meskin. Both surgeries were successful and there were no complications. I would describe Dr Meskin as congenial, professional and articulate. Most impressively, for all follow up visits at his office I never waited more than ten minutes and never felt the meetings were rushed. The whole practice had a friendly yet professional feel.

My mother who is almost 95 years old this week and just had cataract surgery with Dr. Dao. She had both eyes done and we are so happy with the results. She had the largest cataract of the day for the first surgery. In just 1 day her vision was much better and after 2 weeks she's not wearing her glasses anymore. Naturally you have to wait for a month for the total healing but we are very optimistic for the final outcome. The surgery was done at the North East Alliance Surgery Center in Hamden and it was a delightful experience. Everyone was just wonderful and made my mom very comfortable. We were in and out in about 3 hours. The names of the staff that helped us with both surgeries were, Dr. Dao, Erica, Lisa, Dr. Lee, Dave, Angela, Tiffany, Josh, Stephanie, Marquita, Tona, Linda, Alexis, Liz, Sara, Wendy, Jessica, Jhackie and Alex. We took all their names because they were all exceptional. We hope we didn't miss anyone as they were all terrific. The parking was great and the office is beautiful. I don't think you could ask for anything more. Thank you Dr. Dao and staff for all the attention and comfort you gave us during this stressful time. You made it so much easier for us and we appreciate you all. We hope this review will help someone who is thinking of getting cataract surgery and nervous about the procedure, but our experience was a great one and would highly recommend Dr. Dao and the North East Alliance Surgery Center. The best in the area! Great staff, who is always willing to go above and beyond for every patient. Kennedy and Perkins carries many lines and offers a wide range of lenses. Every time I visit, I am always well taken care of and the DR. is very thorough. Also, they have SO MANY MAUI JIM’S WOW! Shoutout to Catherine and Josephine my favorites.

I've been in the real estate industry for over 25 years and I pride myself in customer service. I always feel compelled to give a review when I receive excellent customer service that goes above and beyond. That is what I receive at Kennedy and Perkins. I have purchased several pair of sunglasses over the years. Always wearing my sunglasses they gets wear and tear and little issues will come up. Anytime I have an issue, I will stop in the store they will address and correct the issue. They're always happy and cheerful and a pleasure to visit. I can't imagine purchasing my sunglasses anywhere else other than Kennedy Perkins!!!

Four years ago my eye doctor told me not to purchase glasses from a inexpensive provider. I’ve been wearing glasses since a very young age. So, I chose supposedly the best Kennedy and Perkins. The glasses cost me over $600 after what my insurance paid, not an inexpensive venture. I now am four years later and the many coatings I was sold as part of my purchase are now starting to peel from the lenses, so I thought I would stop in an see what they would say. I was told it was the environment and I they are four years old! Mind you she never even looked at the glasses. I would have at least expected the showing of an effort. What a disappointment to say the least! When you’ve worn glasses as long as I have you come to expect better from a well known company.

This place is a gem! Fritz EyeCare has been around since the 70’s. The owner Craig is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, funny and helpful. My insurance doesn’t cover new eyeglasses so I was on a budget. Craig was able to help me find a new pair of glasses in my price range without compromising on the quality I’m used to. If you need glasses or contacts I would definitely recommend this place!

Great place for all ones eye needs. Beautiful frames etc. What I like the best is one on one care from a guy who knows what’s what. Craig can answer most all questions one has, & you can count on him standing by his service. He’s been around for years & is very caring $ understanding.
