I recently had Lasik surgery and had my first yearly exam with Dr. Schwartz. It was also my first exam with this provider and I'm happy I made the switch. My entire experience was positive. It was easy to get an appointment and the staff in front are all professional and very friendly. They have a large staff and several doctors. I arrived about 2 minutes after my scheduled appointment and was still seen within 5 minutes. After meeting with the doctors assistant for the initial intake, I was brought to another exam room where I waited less than 2 minutes to be seen by Dr. Schwartz. What a great doctor! Turns out we are the same age from the same basic area, and know several of the same people. The exam was thorough and all results were clearly explained to me. From the time I arrived to the time I was done was less than 1 hour and this was my first appointment so it’s expected to be longer than normal. I noticed a steady stream of patients coming and going the entire time. Clearly, this facility has a great group of providers and support staff. If you are looking for a new place to go for your eye care and exams, make an appointment. I think you will agree they are an excellent group.

My office visit was a wonderful experience. I was greeted and helped the moment I walked in. The front desk staff was friendly, helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. The wait was minimal, the assistants/techs were very patient and thorough and Dr. O’Connor put me at ease answering all my questions. Denise and others collaborated together to provide the information and advice I needed to also schedule an appointment for my daughter. I had the assistance of Ashley for new eye glasses. This was the best part of my visit. Ashley was very knowledgeable, navigated my insurance plan with ease, helped me pick out the most flattering pair of frames and glasses at an affordable rate. Ashley was professional, friendly and so easy to work with. I really look forward to seeing Ashley again when I return to pick up my glasses.

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Bierman for over 30 years and I am now taking my own children to see him. He has seen us through a variety of vision issues and has provided the utmost care as he does for all of his patients. He is an special doctor and great friend. We are patients for life!

I highly recommend Dr. Arnold Bierman for eye care. He is a true gem in the field, with a genuine passion for helping people. His prescription glasses have truly made a difference in my ability to focus, as I was previously experiencing major eye strain. If you need eye care, trust me, go see Dr. Bierman. He will not disappoint.

AMAZING CUSTOMER CARE. I had an issue that required the expertise of an optometrist. I reached out to Dr. Bierman and without any hesitation, he assisted me and helped resolve the issue. If I was only rating the doctor, I would give her five stars. She is patient and does a thorough exam. Unfortunately the staff is not knowledgeable with eyeglass fitting. I did rely on their expertise. Based on their recommendations, I now have eyeglasses that do not fit my face. I would not be upset but they persuaded me to pick a smaller frame than what I had in mind and now my eyeglasses sit below my eyebrows. Quite frustrating with the expense I incurred.

The virtual test and Dr were a bit different and may take a bit to get used to, but the in store tech was lovely and overall it was a good experience

I used to love the doctor they had. They have now switched it so there is no doctor or technicians just the front desk people. Everything else is done virtually. Felt very unprofessional as the front desk people do all the tests and just send them to the doctor and technician. They sit with you while the doctor and technician go through things and tell you to go to another eye doctor to get drops since they don't have anyone at the location who can do that. So disappointed and already flagged to everyone I recommended bjs optical to.

For months a struggled with having cataract surgery. I was referred to Dr. Walker and felt I should look into having the surgery and made an appointment. As of today I have had both eyes corrected and I am very empressed, grateful and singing her praises. Dr. Walker and all of the staff are excellent.

Within the last 2 months, I have been given a great gift- new vision in both eyes. Slowly, over the last 7 years, I had noticed that my vision had become cloudy and my visual acuity was significantly affected. My Optometrist had been monitoring the growing culprit- cataracts. At the last annual eye exam, he recommended that I get them removed, as it was pointless to try to resolve the issue anymore with traditional eyewear and prescriptive lenses. He told me that if he ever had to have cataract surgery, there was only one Dr. he would want to have them removed by- Dr. Walker. I made an appointment, and within 2 week had the first one removed, followed by the second eye 2 weeks later. The difference has been truly amazing. Not only are colors brighter and more accurate, but my ability to see clearly for the first time in a LONG time has ultimately been restored. If you are on the fence trying to decided to get your cataracts removed, wait no longer. Call Dr. Walker.
