Awful customer service, rude doctors

I cannot speak more highly of this boutique optical and its optician. Anthony is kind and talented and will help you pick a frame to look your absolute best. His selection ranges from classics to really cool, funky frames. I am so in love with the pair of glasses I just got at Novel Eye.

Finally updated my progressive lenses. Anthony was knowledgeable, engaging and offered excellent customer service. He answered my questions and offered information about the products and services provided. The Novel Eye is a fabulous family owned local shop for all-things-vision and I am undoubtedly a return customer. Highly recommended! Check it out.

. I have been going to Rhode Eyeland eye care for quite a few years now. Dr Boisvert is a very caring professional and I trust her with my eye care. My glasses broke on a Sunday afternoon when they were closed and Dr Boisvert had me come in, she met me there and then fixed my glasses!! How many doctors would have done that. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for quality eye care and a caring physician.

My wife and I have both been seeing Dr.Boisvert for a number of years and have had frequent visits recently because of a problem with my wife's eye. Dr Boisvert has gone above and beyond her duty to help my wife with her issue and has been very good at explaining her options and guiding her through her treatment. Very nice, helpful staff also. Highly recommended.

Dr. Waterman has been my family’s eye doctor since we moved to RI in the 1990’s. He is not only extremely knowledgeable and thorough, but kind as well. He was always incredibly gentle and patient with our kids when they were little, and treated my ailing elderly father with the utmost dignity. His office staff are also very sweet and always helpful!
