Dr. Rao is an amazing ophthalmologist. He is very thorough and explains everything well. He is kind, and treats even the children he is seeing with respect. My daughter has been seeing him for ten years, and she loves going back for her yearly visits. I have no experience with the West Bloomfield staff, but his staff at Children's Hospital are very competent as well as friendly.

Most recently Rachael gathered a selection of glasses after hearing my interests and I selected the very first pair she brought out. The business owner Mariana is a master in customer service. I love supporting this local, female owned establishment. They’re the best in the biz and it shows!

DOO's designer frame pricing is excellent. Dr. Karana's prescriptions have been invaluable for my work and distance lenses. Mariana's attention to detail in choosing frames that fit my needs is unparalleled. Highly recommend A++

Direct Optical Optique always makes me feel like home! I’ve been going here for years and wouldn’t want to go anywhere else! There is a wide variety of frames to chose from sunglasses to glasses, designer and all. The quality of the frames is phenomenal especially for the best low price! The Doctor and staff has treated my elderly grandparents so well while buying progressive lenses. My grandparents adore Dr. Karana while she is always patient and through with their needs.

My mom had an unexpected injury to her eyes & Dr. Shaba Yalldo took her in the very next day early in the morning. She was amazing! She did a tear drop treatment which made her eyes feel much better soon after. She explained each step & showed me what she was doing to treat my mom. We will continue to go to her. We highly recommend Dr. Shaba!

A little pricey but personalized service

Dr Sarah is the best!! I’ve been coming here for a few years. Previous to coming here, it seemed like none of the eye drs could get my stuff right but I’ve never had any issue with this place. Plus the staff is super friendly and I always leave smiling. If you’re shopping for eyeglasses, give them a try!!
